Hardee’s — Restaurant in Mobile

Left early for work. Arrived at 0627 AM CST. Placed an order for bacon egg and cheese biscuit with extra bacon, sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and 12 sausage biscuits so I could feed my staff at Mobile Infirmary. The manager taking the order at the drive through moaned out loud when I ordered the 12 sausage biscuits. I asked her if that was too much for them and she said no, they could handle it. I went to the window and paid for my order. I was NOT provided with a receipt. They asked me to pull around and wait by the front door. I expected this which is why I left early to give them more time. I had tried to call ahead to place the order, but no one answered the phone and the app wasn't working. So I waited and waited. I watched other cars go through the drive through and just kept patiently waiting. Finally at 0645 AM I entered the store and was told by the manager, "it's almost ready." I waited another 5 minutes as they served 3 more people in the drive through and 2 people at the front register. It was not 0650 and I had to go to get to the hospital. I told them I just needed my money back and asked to speak to the manager. The manager, who was right in front of me, ignored me and just kept working the drive through. No one would answer me. I asked again and again, the ignored me. Finally, they threw a bag at me that had the 12 sausage biscuits but did not have the bacon egg and cheese biscuit with extra bacon and did not have the sausage egg and cheese biscuit in it. I stated again, I needed my money back for those items and was again ignored. It was now 0700 AM, I was officially late for work, and the manage had spent 10 minutes ignoring me and refusing to even acknowledge me even though I was literally less than 10 feet away from her. Finally, I was forced to just give up and leave w/o the two biscuit sandwiches and without getting my money back. I was treated very poorly, the manager was clearly ignoring me so I would just leave and was extremely unprofessional throughout my encounter. I frequent this Hardee's, I go there about 2 times a week for the last 6 months, it is 4 blocks from my home, but needless to say I will no longer be giving them...

It's a wonder this place isn't closed down. It would be a great location for a thriving restaurant. My husband wanted to stop by. we went one day one week and went back this weekend. I'm not sure why. 😕 The place looks abandoned just about everything you pass by. I would have never known they were open if we hadn't pulled in. It was a you lady sitting in the restaurant eating. So we went to the door and it was locked. It wasn't late in the evening but it was definitely after 3 pm. Attempted to say, "Hey, drive thru," is opened. The worker I. The dining room just ignored us. Come to find out that the other young lady sitting inside eating was one of the workers' daughters. We went to the drive-through. A lady took our order. We pulled up paid and was told to pull around, and they would bring out our order. After about 5 minutes wait while she brings our food, and we leave. The fish sandwiches were hot along with the fries, but the grilled chicken was cold, old, and dried out. Which should not have happened after we waited patiently. But since we had already left. We didn't worry about it. Since we were downtown this past weekend, my husband wanted to go back, so we did. This time, we ordered all fish sandwiches, fries, drinks, etc. Once again, inside closed. Placed order, pulled up to window to pay, and asked to pull around. We parked and waited. Food came out. Only 2 of the 4 fish sandwiches were hot. The other two were cold and old. Fries were barely room temp. Plus, they left off the cheese that my husband added extra to all of them. Plus, they left off everything else. 🙄 what am I going to do with a cold, dry old fish sandwich? Just fish 🐟 and bread 🍞. I sent it all back because I refused to leave without checking my food this time. We will never return to this restaurant. It is too much of a Hassel and inconvenience. First, I could barely understand the woman taking my order because she failed to enunciate or open her mouth when she spoke. Second, She had ZERO people skills. Third, the orange hi C was all water. Fourth, the coke was just carbonated water no syrup. When I told her about it she said there are 3 things in the back and they all be full. I then asked if I could get a coke filled from another dispenser so I could have more than carbonated water she said to me I told you they all completely full, I don't know what you want me to do about it...Fifth, it took a long time to get our food and Sixth there was another young lady with a headset on who was texting THE ENTIRE TIME I was there.
