Ou experience dining there was not the best. We ordered two Pizza’s and an order of wings. When our pizza’s were brought to our table, one was boxed, and one was not. A reason was offered to us without us asking and it was because a new employee didn’t know better and put the pizza in a box. When we asked about the wings, he said they should be coming up shortly. I had to walk up to the counter and asked for plates since none were given to us. They handed us paper plates. The next party that came in to dine in received plastic plates.
The meal ended and we never received the wings. When I went up to the counter to get a refund for the wings since we were done eating, the manager on duty said that’s weird. No apology, I asked what happened and she said “ I don’t know. I don’t normally work at the store I’m the manager at Riverbank I’m just filling in”
I called today to talk to a manager. The head manager was not in so I talk to the gentleman that answered the phone after hearing me out he told me that he didn’t think that it was a big deal and that all the things that happened that night were just minor things.
It would’ve been nice for him to say I’m sorry that happened and I will go ahead and talk to the staff instead of telling the customer that they’re making a big deal out of nothing. The reason I called is so the manager can know what the issues are, when they’re not there and can train them to handle situations that arise like these. If it was just one thing, I wouldn’t have even thought to call, but it was cumulative and as a manager I would want to know about these things to address them so they don’t happen to the next customer and they don’t end up leaving a bad review on Google.
We obviously won’t be coming back to this location since there are pizza places, on almost every corner not to mention the one in the same parking lot! I just wish there was some better training because at some point these employees will be working someplace else besides a pizza place and they will need better customer service skills in their life if they’re going to succeed in...
Read moreThis is, by and large the worst mountain mikes in Modesto. I will never order again from this location. I’ve tried ordering from this location three times, with the same order each time. A large garlic Tuscan with no onions, no olives, and no sun dried tomatoes. The first time I’ve had this order, I got the order with everything on it. We come back 15 minutes after seeing the mistake and being told they would remake the order; they thought we just left (without a refund or our pizza) and didn’t remake it. The second time, the person taking the order on the phone tries to tell me that the pizza didn’t have tomoatoes on it already, so I politely say, “it does, please don’t put them on, can you please make a note not to put them on?” She says sure, and when we get there, again, it has tomatoes on it. So I ask for a remake, and I get the managers telling me sorry, and how sad it is that their employees can’t get the order right. I don’t care, I want my pizza, not to listen to you sit and gossip to me about how you’re inadequate at your job. It’s your fault, not your employees. Just now I call again to make an order, and the person (who I believe is the same manager who was gossiping to me the time previous) tells me the pizza doesn’t come with tomatoes on it. I tell her that it does and she says “it Definitely doesn’t!” To which I say, miss it does. And she goes “well technically it doesn’t because it comes with sundried tomatoes, so it doesn’t nessecarily.” I DONT CARE I don’t want to argue about a pizza. I just want no tomatoes. What an absolute joke. Three strikes, I’m done with this store. Makes me understand how this place has 2 less stars than any other mountain...

She hung up on me three times without saying anything after I placed my order and after I called to let them know they forgot the ranch I paid for and didn’t send breadsticks but cheese sticks. I called back a third time to speak to a manager she stated she was the manager and I nicely explained she hung up on me twice and her response was I wasn’t the only person ordering pizza! What a joke. It takes two seconds to have some common decency and to NOT HANG UP ON YOUR CUSTOMERS. As she then hung up a third time! As we all pay a lot of money for pizza here I find it soooo uncalled for and so extremely unprofessional. She sounds young and like she has 0 customer service skills. I don’t write many bad reviews but this woman or little girl needs a real clue in customer service management. MOUNTAIN MIKES CORPORATE needs to get a better manager with better customer service skills.
