We absolutely love Jersey Mike’s and this is our local store so it makes me sad to leave this review. My husband was prior an assistant manager at another location and knows the rules and regulations they are supposed to be following so maybe we are more critical due to that but this location has a total disregard for food safety and customer service. The person working the register was going from handling the register and money to holding food without changing gloves or washing hands. The person at the slicer didn’t clean the slicer in between roast beef and other meats and it is in their regulations to do so because of the amount of juices that come out of the roast beef. The atmosphere here could have been sliced with a knife. I don’t know if they were having a bad day between co workers but none of them were communicating with each other and it was incredibly at a snails pace. We tried making conversation with the people there and as far as we got was finding out one had been there 2 years. Just not a fun experience overall.
We would love to see this place flourish and some of the things we noticed for areas of improvement would be communication amongst coworkers and communication with customers. Chit chatting is great! Food safety is a must! Not trying to be mean but no one wants to get sick! Things my husband noticed that he would loved to see improved is the flowering of the meats instead of just throwing it on the sandwich flat and dead 😅. And the amount of vinegar and oil going on the sandwich as he noticed in order to get the normal amount he had to have the person triple what they were doing.

I'm a veteran dasher and the fact that I walked in ahead of time to getand the fact that I'm one of the Dashers that's on point about being on time if not early and when I walked in they should have already had the order ready five other orders on the Shelf waiting to get picked up then I try to ask one of the other employees that stand it off to the right that if I could verify an order with him but then he literally brushed it off passed it off to the next employee saying oh she'll take your order but she was in the middle of still talking to the person in front of me again with Dashers it's not that we're trying to line cut or anything or make an actual order at the line but we're just trying to verify and make sure the order is being worked on but just being honest other locations are way more proficient they have a lot more staff on hand and I'm surprised some of these people still have their jobs with the slow pace they're going at there's no hustle it seems like no tiredness to get the stuff to the customer faster like that makes no sense that's what...
Read moreI am a big Jersey Mikes Fan and I left this location feeling disappointed not just for myself but another costumer as well. The girl behind the counter this afternoon proceeded to put oil & vinegar on another costumers sandwich after the costumer had already said twice that she didn’t want that, after the costumer then corrected her again, the employee simply wiped the onion and lettuce off the sandwich, leaving the oils on the meat for the costumer. I didn’t have a negative experience myself until I arrived home and realized my sandwich was also made incorrectly, missing extra ingredients I had asked for. For what it’s worth, the girl behind the counter seemed very overwhelmed, I don’t think it was necessarily a training issue but more of a lack of staff to support the high volume of costumers in the store at the time.
