Subway — Restaurant in Monroe

I'm not a huge fan of sub sandwiches to begin with, but I do eat them from time to time to shake things up a bit. If you like Subway, this is definitely one of the better ones I've been to. I've been to this location three times, and the first two times were really good. This third time was okay - not really good, but not terrible either. The wheat bread was dried out, which is a turn off for me. The line wasn't that long, and the folks in front of us didn't have that many sandwiches to make, so it didn't seem that busy. But, the two people making the subs were running around, bumping into each other, and getting all sorts of confused. It was obvious that they were really flustered, but they were accurate in their construction of the sandwiches and in ringing them up. It took me 40 minutes from the time I walked in to this Subway until I walked out with my food just now. The 3 stars are for Kaety (I believe this is her name). She was the only employee working on the floor. She was able to get each customer in and out without issue, even the high maintenance customers who I eye rolled 🤷🏽‍♀️ she did her job smoothly and without hesitation. As someone in the customer service field and many years of food service, this is the type of employee to keep. Whether she was the lone ranger due to illness, negligent employees or management, she should receive some sort of bonus. A great location with very friendly people as I use this location as my main for subway sandwiches. Walked into the store today to some crazy lady driving a Mercedes demanding to know why her sandwich was 3 dollars more than prior week. Before she falsely accused them, I listened in to find out the customer ordered a sub instead of a “wrap” but like CMON guys really? These workers are great people and they handled this situation professionally and sent the lady on with the day she deserved.
