We stopped at Loula's on our way to a boat tour from the west entrance of Glacier National Park. First of all I want to confirm for those that have mobility issues, there is a separate entrance on the side street to the left of the main entrance that is ground level and you can just walk in a very short hallway turn right past the kitchen and right into the restaurant. There is one, maybe two handicap parking spaces available just outside the door, but there are other parking spaces available on that same side street. Now, the food at Loula's was very clean and delicious. I had two eggs with sausage and hash browns and my friend had two eggs with home fries and tea. We didn't want to order too much because of the boat tour and the lack of being able to keep leftovers fresh so to speak. Our server even though young was polite, friendly and professional. The food came out relatively quickly and as I said was clean and delicious. I am not sure if you get what I mean by saying the food was clean. Well, there wasn't any aftertaste or anything like that and it was not greasy by any stretch of the imagination. Just nice clean, fresh food. There were paintings mounted on the wall where we were seated, I guess from local artists. There were also some nice wall hangings that seem like they were enlarged photographs of local wildlife. If I lived nearby, I would definitely visit Loula's on a regular basis. Unfortunately, I live in Massachusetts and to travel that distance for breakfast is not practical nor feasible... 😂 If you found my review helpful, please give me a thumbs up and feel free to check out some of my other...
Read moreI’m really bummed to leave a not so wonderful review. I LOVED eating here. We are locals that have been coming in for the last several years and were shocked at the customer service and seating organization and arrangements that were being handled by the young gentlemen working there as a host. The wait times were highly inaccurate during this visit, and after waiting 20 minutes longer that the 15 minutes we were told the wait would be, (35 minutes total waiting) we were being told to sit at the bar the first time they told us our table was ready when we had been put on a waitlist for a table. We could have sat at the empty breakfast bar when we arrived if that’s where we wanted to sit and then not have waited at all, but this option was never presented to us. When we let the host know we did rather prefer a table as requested, he said it will be another at least 15 minutes, while at this time, there was another table open for two that he could have easily seated us at but instead gave the table to a couple who arrived after we had already been waiting. So we were placed at the back of their waitlist. I suppose there is a possibility that there may be some miscommunication with the host and where they are being told to seat people, and hopefully that gets straightened out and I’m sure everything will be fine; however todays experience wasn’t the right way, and the disconnect wasn’t tolerable, so we chose to leave the establishment to grab a meal elsewhere. I hope to be able to come by another time eventually for some Lemon Stuffed French Toast, because that...
Read moreOur family went to Loula’s for the first time. We waited 10 minutes to be seated waiting anxiously to eat breakfast. We ordered coffee, took another 5 minutes to place our BREAKFAST order, which we put in before 11am. Sadly, the waitress returned stating that the owner is now rejecting our breakfast order. Irritated I refuted what the waitress had told us as we put in our order before 11am and that we waited to be seated. The waitress told us the cook is shutting down breakfast regardless. I told her I would love to talk to the cook or owner instead another waitress came out to explain exactly what the first waitress told me. I told them this is not how you should run an establishment and it is very misleading that you would place our breakfast order and then revoke it. Asked to speak with owner and wouldn’t have decency to speak with me himself. Not to mention the poor customer service and that fact that we had starving children! Wrong, wrong, wrong nothing infuriates me more when someone does not do the right thing! Customer is never right if you dine at this place. I told the waitress we won’t be back ever! They didn’t seem to care as we walked out of loulas. I would NOT recommend eating here unless you agree with a kitchen being run like “soup nazi” from Seinfeld. Avoid, avoid....
