Wow! Best Applebee's I've been to in the nation. I travel a lot and an Applebee's is one of the mainstays I like to eat at. Very clean, excellent food, outstanding service, doesn't get any better than that. I'ts no wonder this place was packed at 8pm on a Sunday! I enjoyed watching the front manager "working the room" as she went from table to table talking with customers, jumping in to help a server when needed and ensuring everything worked smoothly with the employees and the serving. My server was new, but excellent. I threw a few curveballs in my order and all went smoothly. What he didn't know he didn't try to snowball me but asked others. EVERYONE seemed to be genuinely happy to be working there. Even the folks at the entrance. Every single one of them seemed to enjoy what they were doing at that moment, whether it was just opening the door for a guest or dropping off or picking up plates or glasses (I had at least 7 people stop by my table - and every one of them were cheerful, concerned about my well being and professional). They were attentive, courteous, professional, polite and just seemed to really enjoy serving guests as much as the guests were enjoying being there. Leadership flows down, by example, and this is a perfect example of great "leading by example". I was also happy to try out the new Sriracha bar-b-que sauce. It's got a bit of a kick, but starts out real smooth, sweet and nice. I had the ribs - full rack - cooked to perfection. I ordered them, as I always do, with "sauce on the side". A lot of places will cover them with sauce to cover up the fact they were badly cooked, but no need here. Smoky, meaty, juicy, very flavorful, and perfectly cooked - just the way I like them. And the different sauces just enhanced - not masked - the outstanding flavor. Unfortunately, Applebee's no longer offers my favorite, the 'Riblets and Chicken basket" but I made up for it by also just ordering the boneless chicken wings and all was well. I was also happy to note the large selection of brews on tap - many which normally come only by "the bottle". Now, not everything was perfect, the onion rings were over-done and the coleslaw needed a bit of help, but all-in-all it was an outstanding meal and if I'm ever in the area again, this is a place I would definitely visit again. Not to mention I highly recommend it. I left full AND with a carton for lunch the next day.

Read moreIt's Applebee's. What else can I say? Their seating policy regarding the booths in the bar area needs to be reevaluated. The policy is not ADA friendly and most likely violates ADA laws. Seating in the bar area is open seating so if there are empty high top tables or empty seats at the bar you are free to seat yourself. The open seating policy no longer applies to the booths located in the bar area apparently. When did this change? I don't think it's always been this way. We went there during happy hour for the appetizers & drink specials which are only available in the bar area. At first we decided to take a seat at the bar but chose to move to an empty booth so that my husband, who is permanently disabled due to several back injuries, would be more comfortable. As soon as we sat down a manager approached us who proceeded to lecture us quite loudly and tell us that those booths were in fact not open seating and that we would have to be put on the wait list for a booth. We explained that we had been sitting at the bar, which had no wait, but needed to move because the bar stools were aggravating my husband's debilitating back pain so why would we need to be placed on a wait list if we were already originally at a seat which had no wait and this booth had been empty for a while before we even moved to it? Would it have made a difference if my husband was in a wheelchair because maybe I should have gotten it out from the car? The point we were trying to make was if there were open seats with no wait where we wanted to be seated (the bar) but were unable to continue to utilize due to substantial disabilities, how is it fair to then require us to be put on a wait list for a table that can accommodate my husband's disability when there was already an empty table? Nevermind the fact that we had ordered our food while we were at the bar and were waiting for it so what did he expect us to do about that? It was just a mess and we ended up leaving. Funny thing is, for years I've always told my husband I don't like this location because of the poor customer service so we drive to the Riverside one instead. Now I remember why we...

First off I would like to say that I'm not a very picky eater and it's very difficult to put me off on food. I decided to try the AYCE boneless wings, riblets, and shrimp for $15.99. I waited for about half an hour to be seated which wasn't too bad. After being seated, I waited another half an hour for a server, mind you this wasn't until I flagged a server down to place my order. After placing my order, I waited another half an hour for my food to come out. When I received my boneless wings, the wings were cold and did not even taste like chicken. I informed my server if the food can be reheated, the server brought my food back, now at this point, it has almost been 2 hours since waiting for everything. My server came back and recommended I placed multiple orders since they were backed up, so I went ahead and placed an order of riblets and shrimp. The second serving was a bowl compared to a plate which I didn't mind. Now after receiving all three featured items on the AYCE I can safely say you should avoid this AppleBees like the plague. All the food that they served was cold, almost as if the food has been sitting there all day. They didn't even bother to heat it up in the microwave. The boneless wings did not have chicken in them and were rock hard, the riblets consisted of mostly bone and was burnt but was still cold for some reason, and the shrimp was bland and had absolutely zero crunch them. I am not exaggerating when I say that even my dogs would not eat the food served here. Now I'm not sure if there was some miscommunication in the beginning when I was seated but the servers may have thought I walked in and seated myself without waiting which was not the case, so the servers decided to make my experience miserable or I was being discriminated against. Do yourself a huge favor and save your time and money. You're better off eating anywhere else. To say this place left a bad taste in my mouth is a understatement. The food is not safe for human consumption and should be investigated by the...
