MINI TOKYO — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. They do NOT wash their hands. I ordered for my daughter and I and sat down and started eating. We were attracted by the samples they gave out and decided the place was good to eat. As we sat down we watched the man who served us our food wipe his mouth multiple times with his bare hands, serve samples right after and not wash his hands. Observing more we witnessed the same man wipe his face, pick his nails over the food and even cleaned his eyes. At this point we are watching and not eating at all I already took my kids food and was just watching him do all of this and not 1 time wash his hands. I asked for a refund and at first they seemed to not want to help me but ended up helping me in the end and refunded my money. We will never eat here again and will be contacting OSHA for this health code issue. They’re going to make someone so sick!

The man also tried denying and when I pointed at the cameras they instantly took action on my refund and he all of a sudden remembered and took his glasses off and blamed the glasses. No he was eating and wiping his mouth 🤮 not just touching the glasses. Gross!

I come to this mall once a week, never have I thought to actually try the Chinese food, let alone anything in the food court, but I have always noticed everyone going there, or Charley’s but I thought I’d give them a try today and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, even more, they seem to be family owned and operated, orange chicken was descent I prefer mines with a lil more snap, the tso chicken was ok as well but the rice was super fresh and seasoned the noodles have 1.00 up charge hmmmm the could have kept the noodles they have no flavor but very worth the 12.00 you could feed 2 people...

My sister and I came to the Moreno Valley Mall, curious about the food court. We were attracted to the free samples of orange chicken and teriyaki chicken they had. We enjoyed and both ordered a combo. The portions they gave was great! I really recommend the orange chicken, teriyaki, and bourbon as well! It was our first time but we were pleased with the service. Food was delivered fast and we even saw how clean they kept the entrees. The food came from the back fresh and it tasted like it.
