I went in store to follow up on their OfferUp listing that is promoting their Funko Pops online and the cashier was great. However, what is being posted online by the owner I assume, is not accurate to what is in store. I live far from all of their locations, traveled to this one just to be told they don’t have what was posted online in stock. I tried to prevent exactly this by messaging them in advance but got no response. Not only did they not have the inventory posted online but the prices didn’t match what was posted online either and they wouldn’t honor them. That wouldn’t have been an issue if I could get ahold of someone prior. After the fact, I called the store’s listed phone number on Google for 2 different locations looking for the inventory that was posted online, they ended up being the same phone number. I got a text back saying I needed to text them instead. I got a response after 10 mins that their other location where the inventory also was listed at has been closed for 3 years. I would also like to note, THEY HAD FAKES at MV location. There was a specific Hatsune Miku Pop that was definitely not authentic. They were also selling above what the Funko websites/averages are selling for. Which is somewhat typical, but when all your store is just repeat of the same Pops, I’d think they’d lower the prices since they have it in bulk but upselling is the preference I assume. Most of the Pops they had so many of weren’t even considered “in demand” pops either. The pops werent very organized, there weren’t any genre separations or anything and they were just out on the shelf basically. On the Comic side, not a huge variety either. The OfferUp listing definitely felt like click bait or something to get me into the store after my...
Read moreJust got off the phone with them. I called in to ask about a comic book that had recently come out back in February and the person who answered was not helpful. Just kept repeating "yes we sell comics and toys" and he could "try to look for the one I wanted but we have 30, 000 comics so who knows if we have it". I don't know how a comic book shop normally runs, I only wanted this one comic book and I'm not really in the hobby, but I would like to believe that most places keep some kind of inventory of their stock. I called 2 other places before calling this place and both were a hundred times more helpful, the other 2 places were just out of stock of the comic book I wanted. I might just be upset by how unhelpful they, but I would not recommend calling in hoping...
Read moreI was actually disappointed by this store. I had looked it up and seen pictures of others'. So I guess I built it up in my mind as this awesome store with many cool Pops and comic books. In reality, it's more like a lot of the same pops over and over spread out so you kinda don't notice. Some cool ones, but if you're a collector, you already have it. Then the comics, not even enough of them to be called a comic book store. I gave the store 4 stars because I couldn't do 3 and a half. I was ready to buy something, but couldn't find anything that...
