Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Morganton

I’ve been to many Jersey mikes restaurants and this particular one is horrible. I am not from this town but have been here twice in the past 3 months. I have never been to a Jersey mikes that was so pathetic. Everything is grimy. From the windows to the prep table the drink station. Witnessed the girl making my sandwich touching EVERYTHING from trash bags to cash register to her face. Put the wrong sauce on my sandwich. Bread was hard and cold. So cold that it made my sandwich that was supposed to be hot into a cold sandwich with a scalding hot core. Sandwich was dry. I had to listen to them bishing about their first shift coworkers. Just ridiculous. This franchisee is either clueless or they have so many it doesn’t matter if this one fails. Get it together. Btw the grime and bad habits seem imbedded in this establishment as not much has changed since my visit 3 months ago. Have you another shot but...

I LOVE Jersey Mike's! Big Kahuna, Club & Jersey Shore Favorite are my go tos! I've hardly ever had a problem there and they seem very chill people. Now, last night we went for double points day and I shared a giant cheesesteak but because we were putting it in a tub they charged us for 2 regular subs instead of a giant. Now, that made our meal higher than us getting the giant. They wouldn't give a proper explaination why they were charging us for a 2 extra subs which didn't make sense? The guy working the grill looked very irritated from the previous customers & put our meal in a bag causing our food to spill out all over the bottom soaking the bag. I rarely visit this sub shop, but I had a craving! My wife and I visited close to closing time for to-go orders (3 subs). We were greeted and welcomed upon entering, and quickly had our orders taken although we were not the only patrons there. The place was clean and well kept (99.5 rating). Our subs were promptly and courteously made to order. As we left, my wife voiced the thoughts in my own mind…AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! The employees were incredibly attentive, extremely nice, and wonderfully pleasant even though it was close to closing time! Whether those qualities came from home or through proper training, they deserve commendation. The subs were just as delectable as the service we received! We will definitely visit more often!
