Wings Ole' Specialty Restaurant — Restaurant in Morgantown

This place was always a strong "NO" when asked if I wanted to eat here ever, man what have I been missing! This only proved to me the saying, "don't judge a book by it cover". There chicken chimis are amazing with a side of fries and bleu. Even the chimi dipped in bleu. I will say their prices are a little on the high side. I suppose, "specialty" restaurant is the reason for that. Almost $30 for 2 of us to eat here. They have a loyalty program for every $100 you spend, you get a $5 coupon. It's not hard to hit that $100 either. Also, their staff at the location by Westover, have always been so pleasant. I had friends that worked at these stores- the stories of how they mistreat the employees and pressure them to "you had better get your friends and family in here eating or else" and not to mention the continued violation of health code of filling the ice machine (that been broken for years) with the same gross unwashed bucket did not sway me when I was finally asked to come in and try Wings Ole taco. Now, being from New York, I've had some great food, even from places that didn't look the cleanest.

We ordered a wing sampler. It sat on the shelf in a clam shell for at least 20 minutes while people who ordered after us were served. When we finally got the ordered. The wings were soggy and all the sauce had run off. The wings were not cooked well and the sauce had no flavor. The potatoes were old, cold and mushy. Thank goodness Mother Nature can grow good celery because it was the only thing edible after I wiped the dirt off of it.
