Absolutely worth checking out. A better to-go breakfast than The Grind.

My one complaint with Morgantown has been its lack of a good breakfast place since High Street Diner closed. I was excited to learn that the owners of the best bar in town (Apothecary) had bought the old Chico's Fat building and turned it into a breakfast sandwich shop.

I expected it to be a diner, but it's more like a breakfast-focused coffee shop. They have a real barista making the drinks - my cappuccino was just as good as anything I'd gotten from Blue Moose or Grind, though still not as amazing as Mountaineer Roasting.

The Biscuits are the real selling point - skillet warmed, crumbly, and not greasy. Best breakfast sandwich I've had in the city, and $1 cheaper than The Grind to boot. Eggs were well cooked, but the sausage could've used some more spices. Cheese was meh as well. The fruit danish was also average - about the same as Panera's, though thankfully less tooth anchingly sweet.

Excited to go back and try the breakfast tacos, potato bowls, and spicy sandwich add-ons (peppers, garlic, pico, etc.) Room for improvement, but a solid recommendation and a great addition to High Street.

EDIT: In the last seven months they've improved the sausage, added fried chicken and waffles, and started selling unique rotating flavors like Ramps, Citron coffee, and tarts. The place has truly come into its own as a Morgantown staple....

Absolutely awful expirence. The Coffee was good. Food was decent at best. The issue came when our bill came to 46.01. I handed the girl 60.01 and she just closes the cash drawer. I asked for my change and the girl working the counter said I gave her 45.01 which wasn't even enough to cover our bill. She does give me my $14 change. The manger then counts the drawer and say they are short $16 and some odd cents (which still doesn't add up) and requested I pay it. It was the craziest restaurant experience I've ever had. The "manager" and "Owner" were extremely rude. The manager dropped the F word in front of my 12 and 13 year old kids... and the owner didn't seem to mind one bit. That let me know what type of people I was dealing with and I just walked out. Never again. Highly recommend the Blue Moose cafe...

I have enjoyed all my experiences at Zeke's. I have done a mix of dine-in and to go orders and been pleased with them each time. My wife is a big fan of the bearclaws so I like to pick one up for her when I go downtown for the farmer's market. She swears by them.

I am a big fan of the breakfast burrito. I usually pay a bit extra to get mine with chorizo inside. Its incredibly flavorful and gigantic too! There are plenty of coffee and tea options too. I have gotten a variety of ice lattes or ice coffee and have never been disappointed.

The only knock I would have is that the breakfast rush is real, especially on farmer's market days. If you time things right there isn't much of a line. That said I tend to find myself waiting about 15 minutes for food and maybe 5 for...

Traveling from DC to MN and found this place along the route. Parked on the street and the area seems nice Got our drinks at a good time + food. Wasn’t too big of a fan of the granola and a bit disappointed in the milk amount. But this is pretty good for a vegan! I got the granola bowl, everything bagel with cream cheese and a chai latte with oat milk. The decor is decent but they should try decorating the area towards the bathroom/inside the bathrooms, also the music could be softer. Around $30ish was the total.

We ordered a taco, a waffle, a side of potatoes and eggs after our coffee (which was good). It was $30 for small portions and took 30 minutes for us to get it. The potatoes were inedible because of how much salt was on them. The taco was okay but was small. The waffle was dry, hard, and crunchy and the eggs were bland. The fruit that came with the waffle was the best part of our meal. Terrible experience and wouldn't recommend to anyone except to get coffee.
