Millburn Deli — Restaurant in Morristown

Millburn Deli is hands down one of my favorite spots when I’m craving a really good sandwich. They never miss when it comes to quality, and the atmosphere always feels warm and inviting. Street parking is available nearby, though it’s metered, so keep that in mind if you’re stopping by.

Now, let’s talk about the sandwiches. The Superman? Absolutely incredible. It’s loaded with layers of tender pastrami, crisp lettuce, fresh white onion, and a generous spread of extra mustard that ties it all together. Every bite is flavorful and satisfying, and the bread is perfectly soft yet sturdy enough to hold all those ingredients.

Then there’s the Griller #8, which is just as amazing. The roasted chicken is juicy and pairs so well with the pesto and the other toppings. The bread is perfectly grilled, giving it that crunchy texture on the outside while still being soft on the inside.

I also have to mention their delicious Buffalo-style big bird sandwich: a toasted sub packed with crispy chicken cutlet, tangy bleu cheese dressing, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and just the right amount of spicy buffalo sauce. It’s a bold, flavorful sandwich that’s impossible to put down.

Their homemade Iced tea is super delicious and refreshing.

Bonus: ♿️ Accessibility is no issue here as it’s located on the ground floor, making it easy for everyone to enter and exit the store.

On top of all that, the customer service here is always great. The staff is super friendly and really knows how to make you feel welcome. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. Trust me, you’ll leave...

Morgan is a awfull employee I went ahead and I told her that I was waiting for 22 minutes for a sandwich yes I am a DoorDash driver I was not a customer I told her and I was trying to communicate that it was 22 minutes for a sandwich I was trying to tell her if it was going to take any longer I’ll just cancel because I see people come in they came in after I did and are getting their food Her response to that was just cancel with an awful attitude it’s just really frustrating that a turkey sandwich takes 22 minutes to pick up it’s ridiculous her attitude and the way she carries herself ridiculous Instead of give me an attitude she should’ve figure it out what’s taking so long for a turkey sandwich

I get that you’re busy but that doesn’t automatically give you authority to be a complete disrespectful person instead why not just figure out hey guys what’s going on with the turkey sandwich he’s been waiting for 22 minutes yeah the world does not revolve around him but maybe the customer is kind of getting worried as well where is his turkey sandwich it’s been now almost 40 minutes probably since he ordered the sandwich and then it’s gonna take the driver another 10 minutes so an hour to get a sandwich you see the problem

Food Excellent but please label more clearly. :-) Service Excellent These people work hard for their employer, who hopefully is paying them a living wage. Online Payment A Zero The default is a 15% tip. This is up from 10% The staff make amazing sandwiches but the customer orders online, pays online and picks up their order. When customers do it themselves, I think it's a reach to put 15% as the default. It should be zero as the default. How many people don't even notice as it's in the pay now area? Atmosphere What are you going to do. It's small and there's always 10 Doordash drivers waiting for orders Priority Orders Definitely doordash. I waited an extra 20 minutes for my order while new doordash orders were put up on the board, made and sent. Over-all a great place. Hard not too make people wait when it's so busy. Don't sneak in that 15% tip though. As a former server, I know what table service is. This isn't table service. The only thing customers don't do is make and wrap their own sandwich. Definitely not...
