I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the food was very delicious, but unfortunately I put only 1star because the staff completely ruined my experience. I don’t know if the owner reads the reviews (probably not) - so many people already mentioned how rude and disrespectful their staff are. And I’ll add mine as well. My boyfriend and I were walking around Morristown and accidentally found this place. My boyfriend was so excited to try the food (he is Polish). We went inside, ordered the food. We told the girl at the register that we want to share the Pierogies, soup and Bigos plate. She gave us the most nastiest look ever. Unfortunately I don’t know her name, she never introduced herself. Fine. We sat at the table. She brought our food like 10-15 min later, that’s totally ok, I consider it as a pretty fast service. And - no sharing plates. Thanks god at least she gave us a pair of utensils haha. Fine. Then she put YouTube/TikTok/ whatever she was watching, all loud, completely ignoring us. I felt like I was dining at her own house - that how uncomfortable she made me feel. After 10 minutes of listening her videos about Pedro Pedro Pedro Pe I just told my boyfriend I can’t do this anymore and I want to take the rest of the food to go. My boyfriend asked for a few boxes, she rolled her eyes at him and gave us 2 small containers for 20 Pierogies and bigos plate. Fine. We packed our food and runaway from this place. I would like to return but only if this waitress no longer working there. Otherwise unfortunately I’ll just keep myself away from this place. And, if you think this is appropriate customer service and you like to receive many bad reviews - at least buy her headphones for Christmas, so she can watch her TikTok at work, but quietly without interrupting your customers having their...
Read moreHorrible customer experince: I ordered two pierogis - spinach/feta and cheese/potato. I waited over 20 minutes for the food to come out which wasn't an issue because I assumed that it was being made fresh in the kitchen. However, when the food arrived and I started to eat the cheese/potato, there was beef in it. They put an entire philly cheese steak pierogi in my order and obviously I won't know the true filling of my order unlesss I took a bite. This was deeply upsetting to me because I am Hindu and cannot consume beef due to my religious beliefs. I notified the hostess/server of the error and voiced how significant this mistake is to me. I don't know what response I was expecting but it certainly wasn't for her to say "oh, well what can I do". She then said she would notify the kitchen "for next time" and that she would give an order of cheese/potato pierogis for free and walked away. My party and I were stunned by this response and after a few moments I asked "you're giving an order for free?" her response was "thats what I said" with so much attitude in her tone it was completely inappropriate. Literally any other response to the situation would have been better than this! Won't be going back ever again and the pierogis were too oily...
Read moreIf you like pierogies, you may want to try this place! Food: all kinds of pierogies to pick from (see picture of menu). We had the feta & spinach, potatoe & farm cheese, and the butternut pierogies. All were excellent ! We also had the potato pancakes (excellent) and the pickle soup. If you haven’t had pickle soup it’s similar to chicken soup with a hint of dill pickle. I loved it and want to make it when we get home. The pierogies can be fried or boiled. Service: there is take out or table service. Keep in mind it’s a small place and seating is limited. We ate in and service was good, however, could have been better if someone checked in to see how our meal was. Atmosphere: clean modern look with mostly hard surfaces. Kind of set-up like a take-out Chinese restaurant. There’s approximately 12 tables inside and 1 table outside. The unisex restroom was clean, but tiny. Summary: boutique restaurant, with very good food for the polish/pierogi lover. We would...
