Mexico Lindo Restaurant — Restaurant in Morristown

This use to be my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Morristown. My coworkers and I would eat here once a week every week.

Unfortunately ever since Allison/Alyssa left the food has gone downhill.

I am not sure if they have a new cook or are changing recipes but it's not been good the last several times I've gone. The portion sizes have gotten smaller as well. I use to be able to make two meals off of just 1 but now there's not even enough to split for two meals.

The rice use to be amazing I could make a meal with that just by itself! Now the rice has a funny twang to it, almost like it's bad. I end up wasting it.

The past few times I've dined in my queso has come out cold and my ground beef has been not cooked all the way. I am absolutely heartbroken I wished they'd get it together because we miss our Mexican...

My favorite Mexican restaraunt here in Morristown, Tennessee is Mexico Lindo! The absolute best cheese enchiladas in town, I've been to so many Mexican restaurants and they just don't make their enchiladas right. It's all in the sauce! Mexico Lindo's brown sauce is to-DIE-for! I would eat here everyday if I could. My fiancé normally orders a steak Mexico Lindo or something with steak in it it and of course he enjoys it too! Only time I ever had a complaint was with the waiters/waitresses sometimes they take a little too long talking to another table and kind of forget about us. When I lived here years ago this was one of my favorite places. Now not at all. We went in for dinner, I wanted to sub grilled steak with my nachos and I said an up charge would be fine. The waitress (the older woman who has always been there) told me I would have to get fajita nachos which was about a $5 dollar difference and it did not come with what I wanted, it came with things I didn’t want. She wouldn’t budge and I didn’t want to order something I didn’t want to eat so we left! We went to El Charrito across the street and what a pleasant surprise better food, prices and service.
