Waffle House — Restaurant in Morristown

This place is mine n my mom's favorite when we go to Dr or pharmacy. Always same order because we just can't get passed the big breakfast lol. If we get a new wait person they look at us like u 2 gonna eat that much? Don't leave a bite...I will truthfully say that 90% of the time, everything on the entire order is perfect! And I'm picky about eggs n bacon. I only have 2 problems with them, one small one is when a piece of food from prior order maybe burnt or something gets on or in yours n it catches u by surprise cuss u don't know immediately what it is, and the other is when they wear gloves to protect the food but wipe them on their pants more than once, I even seen one cough in their fist (with glove) n continue. YES I KNOW! AND YES I DID, go back because if I refused to go back because of something I seen,I wouldn't be going back to 80% of the places I have eaten. And you say choose to eat at home, how do we know what is in, has been in, or done to the items from store? Ever worked in a canning factory? This was my first time ever visiting a Waffle House restaurant. It was late at night and we were in a city we have never been to before. The waitress was so incredibly sweet! They were a little busy and she took our take out order right away. I am an old school waitress myself, and I enjoyed listening to them “call their ticket” to the cook and the cook respond back, just like we did when I started in the industry 30 yrs ago. It was awesome to hear that Waffle House has always stayed with that old school way. Our food was hot, fresh and our order was exact. I’m sad that there are no Waffle House restaurants where we live. Our experience was terrible here....we never go to this waffle house but our friends wanted to. The server didn't give us half the things we asked for. Ordered a side and after a while of waiting and our food eaten we asked about it...they said it was coming but it never did. Server told us she's "too tired" for this when we ordered something extra later. We asked for silverware and one was dirty and crusty and our waffle had a HAIR in it. The servers seemed to not know what to do about the messed up waffle and said we could maybe get a dollar back...later we were able to get it taken off the bill. I'm not sure why it seemed like we were the problem here cause we weren't trying to be a problem at all, just kindly wanted the things we were missing....
