Tennessee Jack’s on the Town — Restaurant in Morristown

We drove from Newport to give it a try... Needless to say, it'll be our first and last time. Only thing decent was the wings... Service was disappointing... Our waitress just seemed scattered... Our appetizer came after our food and only because we told another server that we didn't get it. We were given & charged for an extra order of fries that we did not order. We thought we'd end our visit with desserts, because who can mess up desserts, right?... Well... All 4 of us ordered dessert. 2 of us asked for the chocolate cheesecake we saw in the cooler, but received regular chocolate cake instead. We figured no big deal, at least it was still chocolate... The piece I received, however, was small & maybe half the size of the other 3 slices they brought us. Then, the chocolate cake was so dried out you could barely put a fork in it and it was like eating cardboard. I really don't know how they didn't realize that it was dry when they were cutting it to serve to us, but... When we mentioned it to the waitress we received the response "I figured it was dry". She then proceeded to say she could refund for the piece the couple that was with us got, but couldn't refund for mine because it was "almost completely eaten"... Again, the piece I received wasn't even half the size of the others when it was brought to the table and there was only 2 bites gone out of it because it wasn't edible at all... So we paid $6 for 2 bites of a piece of inedible cake that went in the trash... Our whole experience wasn't worth the drive from Newport... We won't be back, and definitely don't...

Went there for the first time yesterday. IT WILL BE THE LAST TIME I GO. We went for karaoke but we was ask to leave before it started because we did not want to order food right away. We was going to order after karaoke started but that did not happen. We was told that when you finish your meal you can not stay for the entire time that karaoke is going on. The lady that ask us to leave said the tables was for paying customers to come in and go out....hello.....how can you sing if you have to leave as soon as you have finished your meal..every person in the restaurant was rude and one worker even tried to start a fight. As I was trying to get out of the door a waitress almost knocked me to the floor. I am a senior citizen with some disability and she almost knocked me down...REALLY....I hope the owners of this business know that the waitresses on the patio was not interested in serving paying customers....all they was interested in was the DJ....in less than 5 minutes 3 different waitresses was at the DJ table wanting to bring them whatever they wanted.....one worker started running his mouth off because of a T shirt that had the sleeves cut off...no dress code is posted anywhere....saw many other customers with no sleeve shirts on....it was still probably close to 90 degrees outside and we was on the patio....short sleeves would be my thought but apparently not theirs... I would not recommend this place to...

This is probably my absolute FAVORITE restaurant to eat at in Morristown!!!!! They have absolutely THE BEST seafood in the area. They have every place nearby that serves seafood (even the places that are on the lake) beat hands down!!!! This place is THE BEST!!!! Lots of the staff know me, as I’m in there so often. My girl Jamie that works up front on the evening shift already knows what I want when I walk in the door🙂❤️. I go in to place to go orders often, and she already knows without me having to say a word. Lol. I also dine in often, especially if it’s not just me. My fiancé and I eat in often, or my 13 yr old daughter and I(She lives their BBQ Pork). Or sometimes all 3 of us. I recently went in and had my birthday dinner here with those closest to me (other than my mom as she had to work) and we ended up getting the BEST waiter there!!!! I cannot think of his name right now, but he is AWESOME!!!!! He has always taken really good care of our table, whether we’re a party of 2 or a party of 7. All the staff here have always been great, no matter which shift it is. The early shift staff have always been great too. I just know the evening shift best. ❤️❤️❤️ They have karaoke nights, trivia nights, live band nights, etc. just all kinds of different stuff. I love the atmosphere, the staff, the food, just everything here. Highly Highly Highly...
