Stopped by on a whim while in town and I was so glad that I did!! Right off the bat, I was greeted by an upbeat, polite young man. After a very short wait, I was presented with a huge bag of delicious smelling food! The chicken leg quarters were moist and succulent, the pulled pork was smokey and delectable, the collard greens were savory and scrumptious, the potato salad was smooth and satisfying, the cornbread was light and fluffy, and the banana pudding was sweet and luscious! The portions were huge and the prices are great! Contradictory to what one reviewer stated, I have seen bbq served on white bread a lot!! I believe it soaks up the extra grease from the meat! Also contradictory to that reviewer's statement, I am not family, but let me tell you, I sure felt like I was after being treated so well when I ordered and being treated to this soul-satisfying meal! It will be a must-stop when I return...

The food was hot, fresh, and ready to go within about 5 minutes. Mommy's BBQ did it all right, and I'll be back...
