I do reviews for Google when they ask me to review a place. This is one review I’m glad they asked me about because there’s so much in the Starbucks I either love it and sometimes I’ve even hated it. Now it’s not the best and not the worse. It kind of seems to be depending on what time of day you go is what kind of quality you can expect. I’ve been there frequently all times during the day. So in the morning when it’s very busy expect to see dirty tables, empty milk containers and sugars and then your order will probably be wrong and I’ve even pay for wrong size that I ordered. Ohh and the wait. I swear they have to make a pot of coffee every time I order a large black coffee. They seem to get frazzled very fast. During the afternoon when it’s very quiet the Starbucks inside is very clean everything is full and my orders of always been right. And for more mid day it’s a hit or miss. It seems almost it depends on who’s working but I have seen it be a complete mess inside and incorrect orders to everything being perfect. So this Starbucks I would say is definitely very inconsistent with quality. And with the price I pay almost $3 for a cup of black regular coffee I would expect the employees to get my order correct every time. I mean how hard is it to pour coffee in a cup put a lid on it. Some employees need to repeat that class in Starbucks school. Smh... LOL I even went through the drive-through once and the girl at the window had to finish texting on her phone before she would let me pay for my order and give me my coffee. I only keep going back because it’s the only one around. And I love Starbucks in the morning because they call it liquid crack in a cup. It gets me going. Ohh yea FYI: Starbucks: Your coffee is screaming hot one time the girl didn’t put the lid on all the way and when she handed me the coffee the lid popped off and some of it spilled on my hand oh my God , it blistered right away. I like hot coffee and all but it is ridiculously hot. Turn it down a notch, please black coffee doesn’t have milk to cool it down and it’s still boiling in the cup. Yikes...
Read moreWe were just a couple of road-weary travelers making our way up the eastern seaboard - maybe not all that different from you. My friend wanted a snack, and I needed to pee. To be honest, we weren't expecting much.
As I browsed, eyes glazed from hours of staring at open road, Ashley sent a warm smile my way. And offering some gentle encouragement, she asked "Having trouble making up your mind? You look a little confused :)."
As soon as I ordered my ham, Swiss and egg sandwich and double espresso, I knew things were different here.
Much to my chagrin, I had left my debit card in the car. A thousand scenarios ran through my mind, there was no way to know how she might react. All I knew was that I had screwed up and I had screwed up bad.
However, Ashley quickly stepped in, gently easing me back into reality from this descent into my own fears and worries. "I can hold your order while you run out and get it, would that work?"
A few minutes later, I swiped my card. She immediately handed over my toasty sandwich and fresh espresso - instant service.
It didn't end there.
As we prepped for our next stretch of road, I thought I'd push my luck and ask if she would refill my water bottle. When I walked up to the counter, her smile told me everything. "Of course I can fill it up! Here, you can keep the top." She ended her sentence with a cheerful uptick. Her friendly eagerness was contagious, and I soon myself sporting the same smile she had impressed me with just 5 or 10 minutes earlier.
I met her over at the service counter where she returned my water bottle full to the brim (but not too full, obviously).
We walked back to our car renewed and refreshed. This drive was going to be a piece of cake now.
Thank you Starbucks and...
Read moreI mobile order and pick up on my way to work. I usually have to order at least 10 minutes early for this location but I know so it's fine. Today, I ordered 15 minutes ahead of time, showed up and went through drive through to pick it up. I gave my name at the order screen and was told there would be no problem. When I finally pulled up to the window 20 minutes after I ordered, she told me they were out of my order and they could make me an alternative. No apologies. She said I had to wait for them to make it. When I told her I was on my way to work and was going to be late, she told me there was nothing she could do, as it was just added (whatever that means). There was no offer to give me something pre-made, no apology. The only option was to wait for a similar product to be made. I paid for it so I had no choice. Once it was done, she handed it to me, without a word and walked away. I thanked her and still got no response. I thanked her again and much louder. With her back to me she yelled "thank you". Not what I was going for, but okay. I then asked for her and her manager's name. She told me Brittany (don't know if it's hers or the manager's) and told me that she was right there, which was even worse to me that she overheard the whole interaction. I told her I would call, as I was now going to be late for work. The Customer Service I received this morning was absolutely deplorable. The fact that it was all Starbuck's fault to begin with, makes it even worse. Someone needs to teach this girl proper manners. It's obviously that her...
