Jim and I have now taken two classes at the Moorestown location. The class size is limited to four people, so everyone can get the attention needed. The downside is if you want to take a class you need to stay on top of the schedule because they sell out quickly. In the first we made Christmas Tree ornaments on the lathe. It was a very basic project but fun to learn something new. The instructor showed us all the steps to making the ornament then let us work freely to put our own look to our trees. The second class was a basic introduction to carving/whittling. Growing up my dad did a lot of wood carving, so this class was meaningful to me. Rich is a great instructor. He showed us how to do each step then waited patiently for us to finish before moving on. In the end there were 4 very different looking Santa's. I can't wait for more classes to open up.

Brand new location as of 2022! There were so many people shopping but thankfully there were also lots of helpful employees around with woodworking knowledge. The store is set up with shopping for mostly gear/tools, a selection of wood, and all the little supplies like finishes, hinges, etc. There are some demo stations too for routing and turning. This is a great place for your next project!

I've spent over 40 years watching my dad in his woodshop but other than a Dremel and drill press haven't done a lot of wood working. I've worked with plenty of other materials. I took the 101 class and it was excellent. I highly recommend the classes. Always satisfying to go home with something you've made. This cutting board is excellent. Peter was a great teacher

I stopped in this morning to the store to purchase a couple of items and Dominick was ringing me up. A lady came in and was being helped by Jeff who is also very knowledgeable when they both were walking up to the front counter and they were talking. I heard their conversation and I thought they were joking with each other when I realized that she raised her voice and started complaining. She said to Jeff do I have to take that box (Festool Systainer) because you dropped that one. Jeff admitted that the “box” fell but onto his toe and not on the floor. He said he would check in the system if there are others in the back but also mentioned it was not damaged. I looked on the systainer and could not see any damage or marks of any type. Jeff looked in the system and said the only other one in the store is the display model. He tried to de-escalate the situation but this customer started to berate him. He said to her as he was walking away that he will send someone else up to help her. She then was complaining to the new salesperson, sorry I don’t know his name and he apologized for her experience and said that she was still not happy. She stormed out and said that she was going to post a very negative review. I typically don’t write reviews but I witnessed the entire thing and she acted very entitled and obnoxious with her comments about Jeff. The staff at the store have always been polite, helpful and ver knowledgeable for the things I have asked them. I wish people would just treat each other with respect and be patient. I will leave you with the quote that Dominick mentioned, “The customer is always right in matters of taste” let’s not forget the last part of the...

We are repeated customer of theirs and there have been more than several times where products did not arrive within the expedited timeframe although we paid it. When we called them each time, they responded with all types of excuses to avoid refunding the shipping cost. The issue with the recent order was that even though we paid for the 3-day shipping service when we placed the order on Jan 4th, their excuses were that 1) the product was backordered and did not go out until Jan 10th (already 4 BDs behind). When it was ordered online, it did NOT say it was backordered. 2) They said it was shipped on Jan 10th when the tracking information in their own website says it was shipped on the 9th. 3) Today is already the 16th and we still have not received it (7 BDs behind). It's been like pulling tooth with them to refund the shipping cost. First customer service rep only offered to refund 1/2 of shipping cost. Seriously !?!? Only after we spoke with another rep and kept repeating the issues, she finally agreed to a full refund. Hopefully the refund will be processed, but I have no confidence in them until the refund would actually show in the CC which is very unfortunate. None of us should go through this especially when we are a...
