Food was absolutely outstanding!!!!!!!! I wish I could give them 100 stars! We drove all the way from Lansing to enjoy your delicious food. We use to enjoy the Jonâs Country Burger location in Lansing. But sadly the Lansing location closed back in 2013 for good. I was extremely devastated when they closed. I have NOT been able to order my favorite item âCountry Burgerâ in 8 VERY long years! All that has changed now; I recently remembered that they always had a 2nd location and it is still open. The 1 hour and 20 minute drive was 100% worth it. Their food is still as delicious as I remember. Iâm so glad that they have not changed their menu. Everything was amazing and delicious. The âCountry Burgers truly tasted like heaven. The âOnion Ringsâ were nice and crispy and packed full of flavor; they were not greasy at all, which is hard to find in a good onion ring. The âFried Mushroomsâ were absolutely delicious. They were one of the best ones Iâve had in a long time. We also enjoyed some very delicious âRoot Beerâ with our meal. Then we finished off our delicious meal with the famous âHot Donut Sundaeâ. That Sundae was absolutely delicious with the piping hot chocolate doughnut on top of the freezing cold vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. Thank you so much for keeping the traditional menu items I have loved all my life. Also a big thanks to the waitress we had. I forgot her name but she was absolutely delightful. We will definitely be coming back quite often. Itâs totally worth the 1 hour plus drive. The âCountry Burgersâ were so good we had to get 4 of them...
Read moreThe locals tell me this place has been in Mount Pleasant for about 50 years. The inside is well maintained and restrooms were clean. There are 18 tables inside and the menu is posted to the wall of each table making this the start of an eco-friendly restaurant. The outside service is drive up, park eat and go. The prices are not real high. I would say 3 dollars less than a fast-food to go meal. Since are at a busy intersection on the main drag I chosed to sit inside and watch traffic. If you look to the photos that some guides provided on here that's the menu. The baskets come with your main sandwich a choice, fries or onions rings. Extra cost of .50¢ on the onions and they are not the mince onion inside and gritty coated kind. Nope these onion rings are batter dipped. They also offer sweet potato fries too which are costly at 4.19. I did not order them. The baskets also have a choice of apple sauce which I hear is made there. Another option is cottage cheese or extra fries or onion rings. Jon's also has daily specials in the Juke Box section of the menu. I hope you enjoy your visit as I did. I would go again as they have a variety of sandwiches to order including a Po-boy which is a...
Read moreJust paid a little over $18.00 for this cod dinner with extra fries instead of coleslaw and an ice tea. They asked me how my meal was and I said in the nicest way possible it was probably the worst money I ever spent and their response was "oh okay" and walked away without any question as to why. The cod was very small and not worth the money, most of it was bread with air pockets. I also found a small hair in the batter. I tipped and kept my composure ...on my way out the "owner or manager" in a snarky way said "have a good day sir" so than I decided to turn around and let them know I didn't think it was worth the money....how most of it was batter.....and that I found a small hair.....and all she said was "sorry you feel that way sir"....lol I wouldn't feed my dog the food at this place.... it's obvious they are only open because their unique style of dinning....it can't have absolutely anything to do with the food from my experiences.....this probably marks the third time I have ate a Jon's and it's disappointing on so many levels....now I see why they take your money before you eat, even if you're...
