This place, like many others, will probably not remain in Mount Vernon for very long. The owner, to whom I spoke with personally after several of my orders that I ordered online were unbelievably horrible, did not speak to me as an owner should and could not care in the least. He had no concern that I spent $30 each time I ordered and tried profusely, Oh, by that, I mean I called both times at least 10 times and no one answered and he without hesitation, told me that they shut the phone off because people will not stop calling. I'm sure that has something to do with the fact that they place an order and get home after picking it up and realize that they completely messed it up. I Knew by that conversation with him that he was set to fail because his attitude was that of, your petty order is nothing compared do what mt store is producing right now. A truly did not care. Which was humorous to me because that attitude is going to drive his business into the ground and if he continues to allow his products to go out the door like my last two orders did, then when you have no one ordering because your product is below par and then you can't pay your bills, that means you can't keep your store open. I do believe they can fix the food but I'm completely positive that they cannot fix the owners attitude. Not to mention. I have been waiting on a supposed gift card since one week after they opened and I'm still waiting. It's not even the gift card, because I don't care, it was about the fact that this man could not care less about the product he sending out the door or his customers. Believe you me, I'm very disappointed because the first time I had a sub from there was the first time I've ever had Jersey Mike's and I thought it was amazing but I was at the location and ordered it there, then brought home. I made the mistake of ordering online after that and that's where everything went downhill and it really does bought me out because I enjoyed that first sub immensely. I have had multiple issues at this jersey mikes from bread being soaked ( the manager told me they use 4oz split 2 oz oil and 2oz vinegar) to my sub falling out of the paper cause they can not wrap it. I spoke with Management: A manager anwsered the phone when i called, as soon as I asked for a manager I was hung up on, I called back and stated "I just called and was hung up on" the same manager very rudely, says, "I TOLD YOU I COULD NOT HEAR YOU!" I was stunned. Customer service would have been I apologize I could not hear you. With the owner standing next to him, she said nothing & got on the phone with me acted as if I owed her something. This was the first time I went into the Mount Vernon Ohio store and let me tell you I requested a refund because of the staff. There is a kid named Colton cussing and calling me a liar when I had all the information on my phone saying to pick up the order at 8:07 pm they had not even started the order which was placed 30 minutes prior. The young lady that suppose to be in charge just stood there and let him do it. While waiting for my refund they finished the sandwich and the kid that was cooking just walked up and tossed at me I told him I didn’t want it.
