The atmosphere and aesthetics at Cerro 29 Lounge were great, and the dance floor was busy and full of energy.
Unfortunately, my experience at the bar was disappointing. I tried to order a Long Island Iced Tea, but the bartender said it was too much work to make. I then asked for an Irish Trash Can, and again they said they couldnāt make it. I ended up ordering their special, which turned out to be very sweet with barely a splash of vodka definitely not worth it if youāre expecting a solid drink.
The DJ made the night worse. He let songs drag on too long, had sloppy transitions, and didnāt play to the crowd. At one point, he played four Pitbull songs back to back, which killed the vibe.
If youāre in town and want to hear Latin music, this is the spot. Just donāt expect strong drinks...
