The food was good but the service was absolutely HORRIBLE and it wasn't just our server either. The service for table next to us was HORRIBLE as well!! We had to get up 4 times to get our own drink menu, a plate (we didn't get a plate with our fajitas), more salsa & napkins. The food took forever & we waited forever to get our check. The server never even came back to ask if everything is OK or check on us. I asked for a manager and the server used the excuse that they are busy & that it's hot outside. I get it, restaurants get busy but she should have communicated that to the customer. But then again she didn't communicate that to us because she never even came back to check on us. Had she came back to check on us & atleast said something along the lines "I'm so sorry we're busy" or SOMETHING we would not have been so critical. People COMMUNICATION is key!! A runner/bus boy brought our food which is fine but again she NEVER even came back to ask if everything was OK. Then I had to call over another server to ask for a manager to get our check because our server was MIA. The fact that's it's hot outside should not have even been an excuse PEROIOD! I understand it's hot & servers are running around but we were inside! Oh and l didn't mention she brought the wrong drink & when I mentioned it to her she left & it took almost 15 minutes for her to bring the correct drink & never even apologized for bringing the wrong drink. She sat the drink down very hard & and very quickly walked away. This is not good customer service at all!! The table next to us had to get up to find someone to take their drink order after waiting 15 minutes. Then it took them forever to get their food & had to ask for plates 2 times. They ordered some type of steamer pot shared dish so plates wasn't part of the dish itself however they still needed plates to put their food on since it was a shared dish. They had to ask two times before finally getting plates. It's pretty bad when you have customers comparing their bad experiences in the restaurant. I will not recommend this...
Read moreFood was not seasoned. Ordered the Fajita Texanas and not even salt and pepper was on it. I like the natural flavor of food but for the style I was expecting this place to have after seeing the inside, I overestimated the food tasting worth the price it was. An outback steak has more seasoning for half the cost of what I ordered. Speaking of steak, the beef in the Fajita was so overcooked I couldn't even bite a piece of the meat without the whole piece of meat coming along. They automatically apply 20% tip to ALL orders which I'm sure works out great for the servers but everyone's demeanor in this place was just absolute drab. My friend and I are fairly big tippers meaning sometimes 25-30% because when a server is doing their best, we've been there done that and understand. But the staff here, it feels like they're just there for work and don't have the need to try to do better. The hostess couldn't even manage a fake smile after we stood waiting at the front of a nearly empty restaurant waiting to be seated for several minutes. Ordered one of their specialty cocktails and it barely had any alcohol. Not expecting it to have a lot but I'm not a casual Drinker so I can tell when it's off. The drink tasted great but not worth almost $9 to not have alcohol in it or so little that there's no difference. I would've gotten a better partial buzz off a beer and saved $5. And to top it off, in the nearly empty restaurant, we were sat in a corner close to the front and couldn't see any of the "great features" everyone has been mentioning and picturing in comments about the look in the restaurant. For them to have put that much effort into the layout you'd think they'd want their customers seated at the better tables. I don't believe we will be returning to this place. Our experience was honestly such a disappointment after we've been looking forward to visiting here for a while. We each ended up wasting $40-60 per person....
Read moreWe selected this restaurant due to its 4.5 google rating. Today must’ve been a very off day. We were seated close to the door with several other guest in the room. The server greeted us promptly as expected. We placed three entrée orders. Our ticket time for our orders was over 30 minutes. My daughter noticed that a couple seated after us received their food well before us and actually finished before we received our food. They had a different waiter. I Ordered the enchiladas poblano’s. The chicken inside was not prepared to order. It was very dry and reheated. My husband ordered the salmon which we ended up sharing because my meal was bad, My daughter enjoyed her rice and beans and cheese dip. Our waiter seem to disappear and we waited again because my daughter wanted Churros. I went up to the host to stand and asked to get our waiter and we ordered the churros. He explained that he had a very large party he was assigned and that’s why he had not been back to the table. I get that I’ve worked in a restaurant and currently own a restaurant. A gentleman stopped by the table to ask how everything was (I assumed he was a manager)and we told him we were waiting on a Churros. His response was “I saw that setting in the window.” When I was in restaurant, everybody ran food that was sitting in the window obviously, that’s not their concept here. Also, when the hostess seats a large party for a server, the management or other servers should pitch in to ensure his other tables are taken care of while he attends to the large party. Finally, a female manager approached the table and ask us how everything was. I walked her through our experience at the restaurant and she said she would take care of us. The server then brought the check with the 10% discount. Consulting, but better than nothing I guess I would not recommend this restaurant. There are too many choices...
