Update 8/21/2025: Went here with my parents and a few friends on Saturday August 16th 2025. . This show was with Pat Benetar, Cher, Anne Wilson of Heart, Prince, and Michael Jackson. Again show was 2 hours with an 15 minute intermission in between. First off, we also had very good seats, and were able to see the performers well. The show was hosted by Cher, and the first act was Pat Benetar. Pat Benetar sang "Shadows Of The Night", "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", and more. She was also very good. I was singing along to some of her songs Next was Anne Wilson of Heart She sang "Alone", "Barracuda", and some other hits I didn't know or recognize. some of the other people in my party were singing along though. Oh and little feedback, not sure if she did sing this, but she should have sang "What About Love". Also, there were backup singers that stayed and sang for all the acts. Also, in between they did duet songs that weren't necessarily their songs, but 80's songs. For instance the 1st act closed with "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey and Cher, Anne Wilson, and Pat sang it. I really liked this song wants to have everybody dancing. Even prince and Cher did a duet during Prince's set. Regarding Cher's set, I don't know any of the song titles, but I did recognize some songs because I recorded Cher at the Miralex that my mom had recorded, and I put that on the tape, and some of the Cher songs were on there. Next was Prince's Set- he sang "When Doves Cry", "1999", "Purple Rain", and more. Finally, the last act was Michael Jackson. He sang "Billie Jean", "Thriller", and other songs. Oh, and the closing song with everybody was a Jackson 5 song called "Dancing". Oh and alot of the singers looked and sounded like the people that they portray. I must say, I liked this show better the second time around! Especially with the addition of duets within the acts When will they do a 90's or 2000's show? Also took a pictures with Prince, Michael Jackson, Cher, and Pat. Fun interacting with them afterwards!
Went here with my aunt and my parents as part of our Myrtle Beach, SC Vacation on Thursday July 20th 2023. We brought tickets online, and they had them at the will call all ready to go. Show is 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission in between. We also brought popcorn, water, and a soda at the consession stand. I noticed by searching youtube and looking on here that they do have more modern artists such as featuring people like Katy Perry from the 2000's. Only suggestion would be maybe incorporating Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, artists like that as well. Problem with saying legends is that some artists aren't legends in other peoples eyes. Anyways, We attended the 80's party fest- Cyndi Laufer sang "Girls just want to have fun", "Time After Time", and a few other songs that i did not know. She was well, and it definetely looked like her. Pat Benetar also performed hits like "Shadows of The Night", "Heartbreaker", "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", as well as a few others that i didn't know either. She also performed well. The blues brothers performed as well, singing hits like "shout", "Everybody Need Somebody To Love" "Rawhide", and "Sweet Home Chicago". They were pretty good, and probably as humorous as the characters the blues brothers. Tina Turner also performed, but i didn't recognize any songs by her, my mom was singing along though. They also had michael jackson, who was awesome and totally matching his dance moves. He sang songs like "Thriller", "Billie Jean", and a couple of other songs that i didn't recognize either, but liked. He should have sang "Beat It" but i guess with an extensive catalogue of music, you can only pick and choose some, not all. I personally don't really like Michael Jackson, and think he's no king of pop. To note also, some of these songs i only know because they were either a cover song by modern artists/movies, or part of a dance game. overall enjoyed the music, and loved the backup singers! After the show, all of the performers were outside taking photos with people,...
Read moreI'm a little late for this review. We were at Myrtle beach in the last week of august to sept. FFFrikkken Awwwsome. I wish I could give ★★★★★★★★★★'s I and my hubby visited here for the first time while on our first visit to myrtle beach and hands down rocks. I had a problem, where, a recently purchased twin black pearl ring from pick-a-pearl outlet that had fallen off my ring, in our booth (pearls hadn't set yet as I thought them to be and were unusually larger than normal) it was dark and I had no idea where the pearl fell. So during recess when the lights were on I, my hubby and few kind strangers/employees had helped to search for it. I have decent vision and it was in no sight. My only theory was that it fell in the cracks of the seat cushion that seemed to be permanent. Rebecca who was so awesome from the moment we ran into her, got the owner for us and how awesome was he? He came by and I explained what was happening and he said to get him after the show and he will see what he can do. Freaking awesome, I asked if there was any way on earth he could some how, some way detach the cushion from the seat because I knew the black pearl was under there and he showed some doubt and hesitation but I I had good faith that it could be done with his help and sure enough he and his crew lifted the cushion up. When the cushion was lifted up I glance over to the part of the base where I expected it to be and there it was! I knew it was there and all I could do was hope that the owner would allow for me to get to it and so glad he did. I cannot THANK the owner enough for this and I realize what he had done for us. Thank you times a million, this place is blessed by everyones team work. The concert itself was phenomenal when we were there we saw Rod Stewart, blues brothers, steve tyler, dolly parton, and ELVIS ^^it was all so awesome in spite my fears and worries of my pearl and if it was lost in a corner to collect dust FOREVOR was all for NOTHING. THANK YOU THANK THANK...
Read moreWe went to the show on 8/26/22. I have been twice before, but this time was different. This time I was bringing my 8 year old son because he has recently come to love Michael Jackson. This would be his first concert, too! As we left he told me, it was a special night! On Friday night we saw Michael Jackson, Elvis, Freddie Mercury, Annie Lennox, and Dusty Springfield. My son and I were surprised how many songs he actually knew from the artists other than MJ. The impersonators are awesome! The show has a lineup, but it's not scripted. The entertainers interact with you from the stage and that's fun! The more you get into the show, the more fun you will have! There can't be a bad seat, but we enjoyed the 3rd row, center section. This is the way I like to enjoy a concert... a safe environment with people that are not too rowdy, smaller concert hall, and packed full of great songs by talented people! This show is for all ages...from 5 years old to 95 years old! I can't wait to come back for a 4th time! Thanks Legends for making it an awesome event for my son!
*Bring back the meet & greet after the show, please!
2019 visit: It's like 5 mini concerts in 1! My first show was 11 years ago. I have been wanting to come back ever since that show! Tonight we saw Dolly, Elvis Lady GaGa, Blues Brothers, and Bob Marley! Every impersonator has done their homework to not only sing the songs like who they are impersonating, but their mannerisms and things they say. Its worth every dollar! And it will suprise you how great the show is! Neat part is meeting them after the show...all of them were very kind and genuinely thankful for us...
