The bartender working on June 25, 2024 around 1:30pm was incredibly rude. I sat at the bar for a very long time until she finally decided to ask if I wanted a drink. I’m a solo traveler so I wonder if she maybe thought I was waiting for someone. She could’ve just asked instead of completely ignoring me for half an hour. I order a beer and she IDs me. Which is fine whatever I’ll show you my ID that’s not the problem. The problem was that more people came in after me and she served them a whole bunch of cocktails before serving me my one beer. Did she ID anyone else? NOPE. Just me for some reason. How interesting and very discriminative. People need to get out and travel more so they can understand how bad service feels like. She was even rude to Debbie by telling her “I’ll make sure to get your drink last” like for what reason do you act that way get a different job away from people you seem miserable! She wasn’t wearing a name tag so I wasn’t able to get her name...

The only good thing was sitting outside viewing the ocean. My husband had the smash burger. Appetizer was Buffalo shrimp. They brought a salad packet of ranch. Ok whatever. The shrimp wasn’t piping hot but room temperature and sauce was already “soaked” in…. Size was a step up from salad shrimp. I ordered a fried shrimp basket. Y’all… same shrimp…. With fries… room temp.. only thing hot were the hush puppies….. the guy server wasn’t interested in waiting on ppl it seems.. got back to the room and my stomach was upset after only a few bites of food. I had to order me a pizza. Shrimp basket was $21 for not even fresh seafood! Worst experience I have ever had. We had to go inside to ask to pay so we can leave bc he continued going to other tables...

We tried this place last night. Convenience was great, since it was right at our motel and we didn't want to drive around to a place to eat. We sat outside on the back dock overlooking the ocean. Beautiful views and fresh air. Great drinks. The food was not so good. Blahhhh is the best word. The shrimp were little quarter sized morsels. Tiny cup of coleslaw was the worst and I love coleslaw. Everything else was barely fair in taste and quality, but very overpriced. You're paying for the convenience and scenery here. She had the shrimp dinner. I had the...

We have been here a couple of times during our visits. The drinks are always solid. They are well worth the price. Our bartender/waiter this time was Mike. He was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond for sure. The food was decent. We got the pepperoni flatbread pizza and chicken sandwich…along with an order of peel and eat shrimp for an appetizer. The shrimp was great. The other food was decent. You certainly can’t beat the views!

I tried the Driftwood Bar and Grill since I was staying at the Marriott residence inn Myrtle Beach oceanfront. I ordered drinks and food several times while staying there. I enjoyed the drinks that the bartender made me. They were worth the $10 that I spent. They were not watered down and the best part was I could take them to my room and charge them to my room. I ordered the ahi tuna. It had a little kick to it, but it was tasty!

Bartender was rude from the beginning. Burger looked good but came very undercooked and after being told they would make us another, it never came. Couldn't wait any longer as it was getting late and the other in our group had already finished eating and sat around still waiting. My shrimp tacos were good. Cheesecake was decent. Maybe they were having a bad night so I would give another opportunity if we visit again.
