Beware that pictures may be misleading for the actual current state of this place. Itâs a dive bar that serves Mexican bar food, but charges far too much (more than youâd pay at an actual sit-down restaurant) for food, with no free refills.
The Food was served to us on paper plates and to-go containers, and given plastic silverware. I understand the need for disposable things during COVID, but donât charge $20 for your fajitas in a to-go container. (Our order was $60 for two people w/ drinks).
The atmosphere was awkward.. one of the people that (i assume) works there was talking loudly/ complaining to the guy taking our order, while we where sitting there waiting for several minutes to order. Random office chairs sitting in the dining room and booths that arenât made clear if theyâre accessible or not.
Also, the food just wasnât very good. The corn tortillas were dry and chewy, the fajitas werenât very seasoned, and the sides were pretty gross (unmelted cheese on the refried âbeansâ).
This all culminates in you having to pay upfront for your food, which makes a lot more sense once you sit down and begin your meal. It seems clear this place now exists to churn money out of one-time visits from vacationers. I would assume itâs under new-ish ownership culminating in the changes to what I believe was once a good restaurant.
Iâd highly recommend finding another place to eat unless your plan is to pay way too much...
Read moreFood was not good at all and for the price it was not worth it. Ive had food truck food better then what my family and I had to eat. My food chimichanga was nasty, my daughterâs chicken tenders came out burnt, my wifeâs and sonâs food came out salty. The only good thing that was good was the store bought tortillas they gave us. I would never come back to eat here again. On top of that they charged us more because we paid with a card. They didnât want to pay the service charge so they made the customer pay it. The lady that waited our table was ok. I say ok because it was only her and someone else waiting tables. So really it was too much for her to handle. Red flag when the owner is not Latino owning a Mexican restaurant. If you do go donât go off what you see in the pictures because itâs not what it looks when you get your plate. Iâm from Maryland and they have lots of Mexican and Salvadorian restaurants. This restaurant will not make...
Read moreOwners are extremely rude and dispassionate about the quality of their service. This establishment is subpar in all aspects in regards to a dining experience. +The food is bland, and tastes as if it come out of a microwave. +The servers are disorganized, and took everyone's order haphazardly. Then, to make matters worst, the owner blamed the fact that not everyone got their food on the fact WE gave our orders to the server...out of order. Make that make sense please. +The cheese sticks had no cheese in them, the meat was cold in the middle of many meals, and the onions were thrown on to the meat without being cooked. This is not authentic Mexican and it will be apparent when you view the menu.
I rarely take the time to leave a Google review, but this was such a negative experience I feel like I would be doing society a disservice by not leaving a...
