Whether your celebrating back to school or setting plans for Labor Day Weekend - this is a must visit!☀️ We had such an amazing stay at @crownreefresort in Myrtle beach! #hosted 🏝️This entire Resort is extremely fun and family friendly. All the amenities are fantastic and there is so much to do. Take a dip in the pool, lounge in the hot tubs, go down the giant water slides or play in the kids splash zone, walk on the beach, grab a meal at the Loco Gecko Restaurant and play arcade games with the whole family! We even loved the convenience of having a snack shack and a grab n go station right at the hotel. Even though it’s extremely close to tons of Myrtle Beach attractions, you could also choose to stay on the resort and relax and enjoy your vacation! The options are truly endless! ➡️Check out @Vacation Myrtle Beach to see all of the amazing places you can stay and find the perfect spot for your next trip!! 🏝️ There are lots of fun options for Labor Day weekend! ☀️ #vacationmyrtlebeach #visitmyrtlebeach #myrtlebeach #visitsouthcarolina #labordayvacation #endofsummerfun #southcarolina #southcarolinabeaches

The hotel overall was OK. It definitely gave us the memories we were looking for but we hit a string of bad luck while we were there which wasn’t all on the hotel but definitely left us feeling a little bummed. We came for my husband’s birthday and New Year’s Eve. Room: accessed from the outside. The rooms were warm thankfully because it was very chilly outside. The balcony overlooked the ocean and the view was spectacular. We were able to watch fireworks from our balcony that were on the beach below for NYE. Pools: I was not prepared for the frigid walk from the room to the pools. We stayed in the indoor area because it was just too cold for our family. I did feel the water in the outside pools which was well heated. The indoor pool was almost the same temperature as the hot tub which I was fine with. The slides were chilly to get up to. I survived one walk up to the slides before my feet froze and I surrendered back to the indoor pool. There are three mini hot tubs that can fit maybe 6 adults in each on the inside section. I saw quite a few outside also. Towels were near the slide area. Bad Luck: our car was hit while parked right in front of the arcade which had two cameras facing it. We notified the hotel immediately which ate up some of our time. We have yet to hear back from the police as of mid-January. Our rooms swing bar top lock locked us out of our room after a day of shopping. We waited outside for about 15 to 20 minutes in the cold for maintenance to come. Honestly, the wait wasn’t that long but man was it cold which made it feel so much longer. Maintenance used a tool to open it and said that we needed to make sure we left the swing against the wall when we leave the room. We realize after maintenance left that house keeping had been in our room since we left and were the reason we got locked out. Bummer. Restaurant: Sorry to say that the restaurant was our least favorite. The waitress was super friendly and personable. We really enjoyed our experience with her but sadly, the restaurant was not very good. About 30 minutes after our order got submitted, the waitress informed us that our order was never sent in to the kitchen. She apologized profusely and gave us a very small discount. The food was not great. Most of us got pizza and it was not very good. Overall I think we would return but during summer months.

I stayed here to attend a seminar at another hotel down the street because there were no rooms left at that hotel. Overall, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Positives: +Barbara who made my reservation over the phone was great; very friendly. +Kathy at the front desk was very nice. +Views of the beach are nice. +My room was ready before check-in time. +The room was spacious and had a nice view. +Air conditioning worked well. +Grab & go store is convenient. +Staff & drinks at the on-site Loco Gecko restaurant are good. +Easy express checkout via phone call. Negatives: -Check-in is across the street and the line was so long. The person I spoke with mumbled and was difficult to understand. -You’re supposed to wear wristbands the whole time but they only gave me two wristbands for a five day stay. -Signage isn’t clear at all. You have to walk through parking garages/on driving areas to get into and out of the building. When you come out of the elevator there’s no signage showing which rooms are which was so I had to wander around to find my room initially. -On my second day, after spending nine hours in a work seminar, I got back to my room to find that my key didn’t work. I tried calling several different numbers and nobody would pick up. I had to go all the way back down the elevator and across the street and wait in a long check-in line to get a new set of keys. The person at the desk asked my room number and how many days I was staying and then just handed me the keys. -Someone else I know who was staying here also had their keys deactivated on the second day, and someone else said they were given keys to a room and they walked in and there was a family already staying in that room. Yikes. -Shower was filthy and bathroom door didn’t close…luckily it was just me staying in the room. -Only one bar of soap and one tiny bottle of shampoo. No liquid hand soap. -Housekeeping was inconsistent. One day they left a big garbage bag filled with towels on the floor of the bathroom, presumably accidentally because they next day they were gone. -The only outlets near the bed are part of a lamp base and you can’t plug a phone charger in. I had to plug my phone in across the room while I was sleeping.

We're currently staying at Crown Reef Resort Myrtle Beach in tower 2, room on the 7th floor in the 730s. Upon check-in yesterday, we opened the room door to discover a huge water puddle on the floor. Instead of coming in with our belongings & unpacking, I was calling the Conference Center front desk from the room phone. I spoke with Doug, who requested maintenance. Let me not forget that Doug was totally unapologetic on behalf of the resort & seemed so unbothered per his monotone voice. Maintenance came & said the dehumidifier got full & started leaking. He emptied the dehumidifier & cleaned up the water puddle with a mop he left to get. Per maintenance man on the scene, we wouldn't have any more leak issues. We declined to change rooms, which we would later regret. Fast forward to this morning, we wake up to another water puddle on the floor. I call the front desk to report & also complain that it's a reoccurring issue & disruption at this point. We had no extra towels to put on the floor & emptying the dehumidifier ourselves wasn't going to happen. A different maintenance man comes to our room & empties the dehumidifier & goes to leave, stating "have a good day". I stop him as he's attempting to leave & ask about the water puddle. He said "I don't do that. I can get housekeeping". Instead of getting housekeeping, he comes back & hands my husband 2 towels & walks away without a word. I called the front desk again & reported what transpired. I also made it clear that we weren't cleaning the water puddle & our kids had better not slip & fall in that water puddle before whoever on their staff came to clean it up. Nope, I wasn't yelling, swearing, or belligerent. I was pissed, but calm & stating the facts. I also asked to be contacted by their management. For the first time, starting with yesterday's dehumidifier leak at check-in, I got an apology from the front desk person on behalf of Crown Reef Resort. Housekeeping came & the woman was really nice & efficient. She even brought us fresh towels. The only amenity we've made use of so far was the pool yesterday evening. We were delayed getting to the pool yesterday because of waiting to put our belongings in the room AFTER maintenance cleaned the dehumidifier leak. We didn’t want anyone in our party of 5 to slip & fall in all that water on the room floor. The pool & waterpark seemed nice, but there's no lifeguard on duty at the indoor pool. A few kids & a couple adults were running from poolside to jump into a pool depth of only 5 ft. Thankfully, they didn't land on anyone already in the pool as they cannonballed in while running. We check-out Sunday, but I wouldn't mind leaving TODAY if our money could be refunded & my kids wouldn't get disappointed. I can't recommend this resort to anyone based on my experience so far. Also, I SERIOUSLY doubt anyone with their management will be contacting me, but I hope they see this review. Things happen, dehumidifiers leak, but the maintenance man who showed up this morning needs to be coached/trained in better customer service skills. Also, the resort should consider investing in larger capacity dehumidifiers. Last, Doug at the Conference Center front desk could benefit from injecting a little kindness/friendliness in his monotone, I really...

I made reservation through booking was non refundable so booking.com told me to contact crown reef to ask for exception to waive non refundable cancellation. Crown reef told me exceptions aren’t made and that I paid booking. Booking then told me I paid crown reef directly. I was at a loss at that point. I shouldn’t have made non refundable booking but mistakes were made and coastal scuba told me the weather was looking good for the Bill Perry dive Labor Day then told me it was not right after I made this booking which was regrettable. So last minute I had to scramble rebooked my scuba dive to 24 hours earlier change all my plans rush around.. When we arrived after my dive and an hour early to check in at 3pm, crown reef gave us waterpark wristband but did not tell us where to park or when the parking pass would be issued so we had to look all of that up. Before checking out of the room we also had to look up check out procedure because we did not have time to go across the street to check out and left the keys in the room dialed zero and left a message on the phone at 11am. They said it would be $55 to check in an hour early. Seriously? We went to waterpark for an hour. Came back the line was about 15 people long. Well, they had two people working then three but it took 45 minutes to get through the entire line to get our park pass room keys sign the waiver whatever and all that? Seriously?? What a slow process! So inefficient. The room was very spacious but very unnecessarily spacious for two people. It faced the ocean front which was nice. The beds creaked so they were old. The rooms were clean at least. Full kitchen and everything. But no place to put the single bar of soap they gave us. One single small container of shampoo. Plenty of towels at least. Among all the stress of last minute planning I almost forgot I booked a room with a spa jacuzzi whirlpool tub. We made use of that when we overheard a guest in the elevator talk about the hot tubs. When trying to park in the garage, one incredibly rude guest honked at us and wouldn’t even give us room to adjust the car into the space trying to get past us. The morning of check out we barely had time to get from waterpark up to our room since we had to stop on every floor with confused guests going up or down. The public bathrooms near the waterpark were incredibly dirty. I don’t know if we would stay here again. Balcony view was nice. We went out to eat at bubba fishcamp which took forever since it was so busy to wait for a table so we didn’t spend much time in the room aside from the waterpark, dinner, and inordinate amount do time waiting in line to get our room keys. The purple lights that lit up at night were neat and beautiful. The slides were fun. Lazy river water way too cold. The lifeguards didn’t seem to care about safety or how the kids ran around the waterpark or went into the slides as they should have. Many kids ran me over going up the stairs rudely. The side rungs were very loose and were coming off. Those need to be wrenched in for safety. The park doesn’t seem that safely secured. Towel service was incredibly slow too. Service definitely was horrible. Other guests made the stay difficult too. Don’t know if we...

I rated this hotel on Hotels.com with this being said. Stay 6/18-6/21, 2025

I am unsure where to begin. I only have 1475 characters for typing so lets say this. I wll Never, Ever stay here again. I am currently looking for a Corporate number since there was no supervisor on duty as it seems the entire time I was there. From the room that seemed to fall apart right when we opened our room door, to the cleanliness of the property from the parking deck to our room, the food that was old and dry looking at the hotel restaurant, to the nastiness of the jacuzzi pools, to the rudeness of housekeeping ( under staffed and over worked, "I get it", but way to many attitudes, Now the miscommunication and just plan unapologetic, don't give a shi$$ attitude of the front desk check-in/ registration office across the street from the actual hotel. It doesnt matter if I booked through Crown Reef Resort or a 3rd party, there should never be any discrimination or special privileges amongst guests. Now lastly we where offered a tour and a 90 minute presentation at the resort showing building 3. Now I must say what they where offering through RCI was a great deal but here is the down fall, the young guy we spoke to was new to this and didn't have all the answers but he tried, but the lady that he asked to help him was a deal breaker. She was arrogant and chose to use words like " it doesnt matter or it shouldn't concern you or what you fail to realize or lastly if it doesnt bother me it shouldn't bother you. Im seeking all my $$ back.

Now for the actual hotel website I still stand by what I said, I am still looking for a Corporate number after I was told upon check out this morning there isn't one. I will express my issues and concerns about this hotel whether it's on social media, in my books, on my next commercial or transportation business adventure. Your establishment showed no concern for my little small concerns or issues and brushed them to the side as if I am just 1 person that doesn't matter, "cause at the end of the day you have a business to run right". "Ok" you didn't see or want to hear me, thought me asking for towels for 3 days was funny or me telling you that I shouldn't have to clean my room like I was at home right when I open the door, or listening to your own housekeeping say "If the sheets didn't look dirty they probably wasn't changed or we do not have enough towels. Now there was 1 young lady that worked in the restaurant 2nd floor near game room by the name of Maryanne? Could be spelled incorrectly but she saw the food I was presented with on multiple occasions and said today, " I told them not to mess up today" I am so glad that this young lady took the time to express her apology for what took place from Wednesday to Saturday.

At this point I want ALL my money back, even the money I spent at the near by Walmart to clean my room, sheets to put on the bed, toilet paper for the bathroom and the frustration of having to listen to the outside air conditioning unit constantly bang on the balcony floor.

Property has so much potential but FIX BUILDING 1 AND REPLACE YOUR REGISTRATION/...
