It was a “just ok” course. We chose it because it was very close to where we were staying. It’s split into 3 courses of 9 holes and you choose 2 courses of the 3 to play. 2 courses are mixed indoor and outdoor and one is solely outdoor. It was hot out so we played the 2 mixed courses and they are almost identical. I kept thinking that we were playing the same course twice. They also charge you for everything including $3 lost balls (which would be lost on their course and retrieved later) and prizes for the kids at the end. It was the first course of many where they actually charge you for lost balls when they have employees to retrieve them. It’s almost like charging us if they have to do their jobs. We also didn’t end up buying the little prize that my son wanted because my mom stood at the counter the whole time while I changed my son in the bathroom waiting for the employee to get off of her personal phone. I came out and realized the employee had been scrolling on her phone and flat out ignoring my mom (who had cash in her hand and was clearly waiting) and we left. Overall, it was ok. Nothing stellar to report or...
Read moreThis is hands down one of the best miniature golf places I've ever been to!
Along with a story that has elements sprinkled around the course to make it feel rather immersive, such as the "thunderstorm" you can see at the lobby, this place has an interesting format where there are three courses with nine holes each, but once you complete the first one, it's up to you as to which one you do next, and you'll still get a full 18 hole game!
The layout of this place is a mixture of indoor and outdoor, so that's pretty cool! There are also some challenges on certain holes where, if you spin the wheel, you may have to do certain things that could help or hinder you, such as taking a shot where you stand on one leg, intentionally obstructing your opponent, or even just rolling the ball with your hands!
If you like that kind of challenge, they also sell a deck of cards that have those challenges written on it that you can use as an individual card game, or you can bring with you to other miniature golf places!
Can you calm the...
Read moreRecently played at Moulten Mtn mini golf and received a rain check. At the time I was told it could be used for the 3 courses that's under the parent company from the rain check issuer. When we arrived at the beach I called Cancun Lagoon to verify and was told "yes you can use it here" by a male. Went to go play at Cancun Lagoon bc it was right by our hotel and the other was 30 mins. away and was greeted by a lady that had absolutely zero customer service and refused to accept it. At the point we called the general manager at Moultn Mtn and he even said "yes that's no problem to use that at another course Affiliated within the company". Now the problem isn't the fact of this employee or manager said yes and the next one said no. Problem is they ALL need to be on the same page and not 10 different ones. So I recommend playing somewhere else! Not to mention when we did arrive she wasn't even inside at the counter, she was...
