Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

First of all, if I could rate this restaurant a "ZERO" I surely would. My experience with this restaurant was very unprofessional. And its disappointing because we order from this place every year we come for vacation. My family (party of 12) and I came to enjoy a meal. We arrived at 7:58 pm but they closed at 9 pm. We were informed that there was no dine in and it was take out only. We had just traveled 30 minutes from our hotel to sit and eat because they told us on the phone that they didn't deliver in the off-season and we didn't want take out just to have cold food in our hotel room. So, we simply asked "why?" just trying to understand why we couldn't just sit and enjoy some food (also there was no sign stating that they didn't do dine in and they didn't say that over the phone, otherwise we would've understood it better and we asked to see that sign and never saw it ). Then, the cashier went to get the "manager" ( who was actually the pizza maker because he would've been a lot more helpful to customers if he was the manager and I know because I've managed a restaurant before and even a manager knows not to be rude to customers) and it was explained in a very nasty way that they didn't have to explain anything to us. Very angry, we had some choice of words for them (you would understand why if you heard how they spoke to us) and left the place at 8:10 pm, never to come back. I'll never order from this place every again. It's not about the money or the food. Customer service is a very big key when you're serving people. I've been in customer service for years and know for a fact that your service means a lot. Even if you mess up an order, you show your customer that you care and do what has to be done to make it right. Your customer will appreciate you and always come back. But not in this case. I am visiting from out of town and decided to order some pizza from Godfathers. As I typically do, I went to the website to order the pizza to find the menu which I did. I found a deal for a large pizza with a side for $17.99 and called to order. The woman on the phone was not too helpful and she seemed confused when I was ordering this deal. She did not give me the price of my food on the phone. I went in to get my food and the woman at the counter did not speak great English and was hard to understand. I told her I had a pick up order and she proceeded to tell my that it would be $27.99 for my food. I told her that this was not right as I had gotten the deal. She went and asked the manager in the back and came back saying that she had fixed it and it would now be $23.99. I told her that this was incorrect and then the manager came from the back shoving a to go menu in my face saying that I found the wrong menu off of google and that I needed to look on their website. I continued to tell him that I did look at the menu on their website which stated $17.99. He was extremely rude and the customer service was very poor. We were visiting MB for the first leg of our honeymoon trip and my Husband being from Buffalo NY, was curious about the hype of Godfathers pizza. Me being from the south and I grew up eating Godfathers, made me proud to show off our “southern” pizza. Well first of the all the restaurant is very dimmed in lighting and I wasn’t sure if it’s on purpose or just the old ness of the building, secondly the ladies bathroom is DISGUSTING, if I didn’t have to go badly, I would’ve held it but we decided to eat there and I knew I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my lunch if I didn’t go! Meanwhile my husband said the men’s bathroom smelled like pee! Our pizza came out piping hot and fresh and brought back all of my childhood memories. As we were finishing our food, a customer screamed out “Oh h*ll No, there’s a roach in my pizza, which to our dismay the roach was in their pizza as another one was crawling down the wall. The manager immediately gave the customers back their money. My mouth was on the floor. I know that Godfathers is a staple here at MB, but just a suggestion, please close for a week or so for a full extermination as well as get the lightning fixed. I hope this...
