My family and I go to Myrtle Beach every year for vacation and could hardly wait to get there so we can eat at Peaches but this year was totally different. First of all the customer service is very below average. I have worked in the customer service field for 20+ years and this was not it. When we walked in we were just looked at. We did not hear anyone greet us nor did we get greeted before the young lady took our order. We waited for a while before she even come to take our order. When she finally came over my children placed their order then I proceeded to place mine and the young lady stated I forgot we're out of grilled chicken so of course at that point I didn't know what I wanted because everything else seem to be fried so I let my husband order his foot long hot dog all the way (which made him sick as a dog) while I looked over the menu a little more. To me it seems like the young lady had the attitude as if she wanted me to hurry and place my order sooo I ordered the cheeseburger that had no taste (seasonings) at all. My son ordered the bacon cheeseburger which he said was just alright, my daughter had the breaded chicken strips which she did not finish. My sister had the corn dog and she also got sick. My other family members were also very disappointed and the food was not very fulfilling at all for the price that we paid. It only takes one bad experience for my family and I and we turn the other cheek and move on. Also I think it would be nice if the employees smiled a little to make your customers feel more welcomed. Thank you for the good food in the past but we will not be back...
Read moreI usually eat lunch at New York Pizza because of lack of time due to business being busy. By the way I work at a beachwear shop. Yesterday I decided to try something different and its been a while doing so since I just moved back two weeks ago from a three year break from myrtle beach. A black guy working took my order and was extremely rude when I asked if there was a discount for blvd workers. He said he never heard of my store and looked at me like I was a liar. He then turned his back on me as I was trying to small talk with him and was being nice he never replied to what I was saying or answered my questions. I finally got my food and as I was walking out he unprofessionally yelled in front of customers at me "I'll never give you a discount if you don't tip". Clearly I was getting my food to go and there was no good service. He looked at me shaking his head and in disgust. Definitely was a game changer in my decision not to eat there again when I got back to my store to eat my food when the fries were cold and the sand which was falling apart and sloppy and not even cooked thoroughly. Ill spend an extra $2 and eat at moe moons or beachhouse then ever going back there. Its sad because I have a lot of tourists that go into my store asking where's good places to eat. I definitely know where to tell them not to go now,...
Read moreWe went to Peaches Corner to get a corndog. My son told me he had driven by and thought they had footlong corndogs. We found out they do not. If you are a connoisseur of corn dogs, which I am, you know that a good corn dog is worth traveling for. I will say that the corn dog is quite good and was served very hot; however they do not have foot long corn dogs. Also be aware of the pricing posted in the pictures of Google reviews are FAR from accurate in 2023. Also know that they will charge you before they give you your food...and I always am a little hesitant to give a tip before service has been provided. My corn dog was $7, my cheese fries were $7, and my Diet Coke must have been $3 something because my bill before tip was $18.50 I believe. I love a good corndog, but I'm not sure it was worth $7, and I'm positive no fries, in any amount are worth $7 - Five Guys gives you half a grocery sack of potatoes for about $6 these days, and this was a small paper boat of fries, although the fries were good. I get it...I'm at the beach and everything is higher at the beach. I'm not necessarily looking for a bargain. Normally I would not whine about pricing, and am more than willing to pay for good food, but even at the beach $21.50 is a little much for the items I laid out above plus tip. All in all a very good corn dog...
