Redemption for Red Lobster! After revisiting this location from a dire visit in the past, I'm delighted to update the rating and give a review that highlights the awesomeness of staff, food, and atmosphere. Management has changed since I posted originally. There are different waitstaff members as well. This group is absolutely wonderful! From the management taking time to reach out to all the tables to ask how things are going, to wait staff, like Kendalyn, making sure the order is accurate with attention to drinks, biscuits, and special requests, to the cook staff making wonderful meals, this location is a delight. The hostesses are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is clean as are the bathrooms. The food is top notch for this brand. One can tell the current employees care about the customers. I have witnessed these great people bring excellence to the table. It's not just the lobster fest that rocks- its the feeling of knowing one is not just a dollar when coming in. You're greeted with kindness, looked after with compassion, and served with love. That- is better than the cheddar biscuits. Which I love so much, I'm willing to break keto for them. So if I'm stating that, you can be assured my delight in this particular store is sincere. I wasn't able to do that before. I will definitely be back again. Great job!
Original Post below two star rating at the time. This particular chain location use to have acceptable standards to the food quality and wait time. This isn't covid related. I think we're all aware of the extra time needed for being short staffed. This is more about the lack of accuracy, food, and how the wait staff are more concerned about taking away one's plate before being done, than letting someone attempt to eat- the incorrect order.(Because, after waiting for it to be corrected, it wasn't. So,, we just ate it as we didn't want to bother our wait staff person.)It's not the first time this particular one disappoints with wrong orders, etc. We're never rude, or fussy. Matter of fact, we wait nicely, especially now as we understand the plight in the area of low staffing. But,some things aren't about low numbers, rather low standards. Don't come here if you're making plans for later. Don't be upset and shocked when the order is incorrect. Just enjoy the moment to savor some of those cheddar biscuits, that if given the opportunity, could possibly bring world peace. Presuming no gluten issues. He helped his other tables I stopped him he said he was waiting for beer I said I didn’t order beer so you can get non alcoholic beverages first while husband waits on beer , so I said can we atleast order our food. Husband order 7oz filet with mash and rice and we asked for grilled shrimp side (25 meal) . I order CYP popcorn small steak and two sides…. Server never came back after drinks had to ask a different server Keagen for another beer. It came in SECONDS. Our food came my steak was well done not medium well. Our server EDWARD put in an upgraded skewer of some Alaskan shrimp we didn’t order we asked for the small grilled scampi and even showed him photo on menu ..we told him take it … he said he took it off the check so I said ok we want the check. Brought us check and hung around kind of for money bc never helped us for anything else… as I checked receipt. He CHARGED US FOR A CYO for my husbands food not even for his $25 filet meal with 2 sides and then UPCHARGE of $11 for his steak so what the heck did he remove another upcharge for the shrimp “he removed” bro you added a whole other meal on my bill to make a higher check for s bigger tip. This AHOLE really thought he was gonna charge us $29.99 for a cyo and $11 for a up charge ? And said “ I took the shrimp off” bro you added a shrimp we didn’t even ask for that was twice the cost so you could add on bill something we didn’t even order to increase the bill like I wouldn’t check. I placed a to go order on the Red Lobster app at precisely 9:01 pm on March 1, 2024 for a total of $27.86 at this location. I received a confirmation that I would have my food delivered at 9:43. I then received tracking from Door Dash since they partner with them for delivery. The time came around and I notice the estimated time of delivery kept getting pushed back later and later . The tracker said my delivery driver was waiting for my order. And then it tracked and said my driver picked it up and was on the way. I'm literally about 7-10 minutes from this location so when the time kept saying 20-:30 minutes to delivery I knew something wasn't right. I text the number with no response and then i called and it kept sending me to voicemail. Around 10:38 i get a notification that my order has been cancelled!! I called the establishment and you can just tell they were trying to brush me off because the girl asked if I ordered from Door dash and i straight up told her no I ordered directly from the app so i need my refund ! Then apparently a manger gets on and he said the kitchen never got the order?! Like seriously ? How was I receiving these updates if there wasn't an order. He said it would take 2-3 weeks to receive a refund and I think that is unacceptable .
