Surfside Taco Stand — Restaurant in Nantucket

There a week before the season starts and the #1 ice cream place a few doors down was closed for the weekdays, so I got some soft serve here to fill the itch.

For $6, you get a decent amount of ice cream. You even get one topping for free, which I got rainbow sprinkles.

Only things holding back from a 5-star review for ice cream was that it wasn't on the electronic ordering menu and the sprinkles didn't fully cover the ice cream. Maybe their form of soft serve doesn't let them roll it in the sprinkles for complete coverage.

I'm not sure anyone else in the immediate area has soft serve, so you gotta take what you can get. The rest of the people there for the food seemed...

Searched all over downtown for a place for breakfast but many places closed post labor day. I just wanted fried eggs and toast. We went to surfside taco 9am with limited expectations. The four of us sat outside and were all shocked - what fantastic breakfast. Loved the mex spin, large portion and tlc the chef used in prep. Been going to nantucket for over 3 decades and this was the best surprise...

This is a great spot to grab a quick but tasty bite when in Nantucket. I had their Buck Island Salad with grilled salmon - yum! Kids and hubby had the quesadillas and they were quite tasty! Spot has indoor and outdoor tables, so depending on weather, there are options. It’s also close to the ferry stop, so it’s a great spot to eat at before...
