An Unforgettable Evening at Le Colonial Naples From the moment you step inside Le Colonial Naples, you are transported to another world. The ambiance is simply incredible, creating a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere that sets the stage for an extraordinary dining experience. Every detail, from the decor to the lighting, works in harmony to prepare you for the culinary journey ahead. The service was top-notch from start to finish. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, making us feel completely cared for throughout the evening. This high level of service extended to the bar, where the drinks were crafted to perfection, each one a balanced and refreshing complement to the meal. The true star of the show, however, was the food. Each dish was a testament to freshness, innovative flavors, and culinary artistry. We had the pleasure of enjoying several standout items from the menu. The Spicy Yellowfin Tuna Tartare was a vibrant and exciting start, its flavors clean and bold. The Chicken & Mushroom Ravioli was a delicate and savory delight, showcasing a perfect fusion of textures. The Spicy Beef Salad, Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Crunchy Green Papaya Salad were exceptional and flavorful, offering a brilliant contrast of spice and coolness. For the main course, the Roasted Salmon was cooked to absolute perfection, flaky and moist with a beautifully crisped skin. Every plate that arrived at our table was a pure delight. Le Colonial Naples is more than just a restaurant; it’s a complete sensory experience. The combination of stunning ambiance, impeccable service, and truly flawless food makes it a standout destination. Without a doubt, this establishment has earned its place as one of the top 5 dining spots in Naples, FL. We are already planning...
Read moreI hate to give this place 1 star as the Chef deserves MUCH MUCH BETTER! But that tells you something when 3 out ONLY 14 reviews talk about bad service..
Terrible service indeed if you call on the phone, whoever answers the phone is rude and desperately needs training. She'd transfer you " downstairs" where nobody answers the phone & claims " we aren't here at the moment". Then I spoke with the man, named Sean who was incredibly UNACCOMMODATING" .
After dining at this restaurant TWICE already, I asked if I'd order a salad ( a couple of salads actually & appetizers) while at the bar, from a main menu & the answer was a very STERN NO. He was SO CONDESCENDING & was talking to me like I was a child. "We are not choosing to do that" was his answer several times. Well, that's certainly NOT the best choice he made bc I'm not going to return any time soon. & I'm also choosing to write a review:). He'd not make an exception for couple of salads? The food is really good but the service is NOT WORTHY of the 5th avenue!
In regards to the table service, the 1st time the service was astonishing bc the waiter had no manners whatsoever but the 2nd time it was really PERFECT. The Thai waitresses are truly wonderful. The worst part was that this person Sean couldn't care less & was really sarcastic. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE fine dining hospitality????? I really hope someone will read this & make the changes this place ALREADY DESPERATELY NEEDS & won't let this establishment turn into one of those trashy restaurants we unfortunately have on the 5th avenue...
Please think twice before you go there & if you do be ready for...

However, my wife’s entree was a bit too spicy - we’ve been here several times before and the same entree was not too spicy on the previous occasions. Also, they typically add a birthday candle and birthday message on the dessert, but this time they did not. It’s the little things like this that matter, which is a shame since all of our previous dining visits here have been great. The salmon entree and creme brûlée were both still delicious.
From 2024: My wife and I went earlier this week for dinner with another couple. When we first walked into Le Colonial, it was clear (from the bar area to the dining area) that great care was taken to deliver an elegant, stylish, first-class experience. For appetizers, my wife and I ordered the chilled shrimp roll, which was delicious with the peanut sauce. Our friends ordered the crispy shrimp & pork roll and they loved it. For the entrees, my wife had the spicy shrimp stir-fry and I had the roasted salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the coconut lobster broth was out of this world-- one of the best meals I've had in quite awhile. My wife really enjoyed the stir fry as well. Our friends ordered the Vietnamese seafood bouillabaisse and said it was very good. For dessert, we had the creme brulee-- so good and made with real vanilla bean (instead of other places that make it without real vanilla bean). Service was great too, as we did not feel rushed nor did we feel ignored. All in all, it was an excellent dining experience and I would...
