An Unforgettable Evening at Le Colonial Naples From the moment you step inside Le Colonial Naples, you are transported to another world. The ambiance is simply incredible, creating a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere that sets the stage for an extraordinary dining experience. Every detail, from the decor to the lighting, works in harmony to prepare you for the culinary journey ahead. The service was top-notch from start to finish. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, making us feel completely cared for throughout the evening. This high level of service extended to the bar, where the drinks were crafted to perfection, each one a balanced and refreshing complement to the meal. The true star of the show, however, was the food. Each dish was a testament to freshness, innovative flavors, and culinary artistry. We had the pleasure of enjoying several standout items from the menu. The Spicy Yellowfin Tuna Tartare was a vibrant and exciting start, its flavors clean and bold. The Chicken & Mushroom Ravioli was a delicate and savory delight, showcasing a perfect fusion of textures. The Spicy Beef Salad, Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Crunchy Green Papaya Salad were exceptional and flavorful, offering a brilliant contrast of spice and coolness. For the main course, the Roasted Salmon was cooked to absolute perfection, flaky and moist with a beautifully crisped skin. Every plate that arrived at our table was a pure delight. Le Colonial Naples is more than just a restaurant; it’s a complete sensory experience. The combination of stunning ambiance, impeccable service, and truly flawless food makes it a standout destination. Without a doubt, this establishment has earned its place as one of the top 5 dining spots in Naples, FL. We are already planning...

I hate to give this place 1 star as the Chef deserves MUCH MUCH BETTER! But that tells you something when 3 out ONLY 14 reviews talk about bad service..

Terrible service indeed if you call on the phone, whoever answers the phone is rude and desperately needs training. She'd transfer you " downstairs" where nobody answers the phone & claims " we aren't here at the moment". Then I spoke with the man, named Sean who was incredibly UNACCOMMODATING" .

After dining at this restaurant TWICE already, I asked if I'd order a salad ( a couple of salads actually & appetizers) while at the bar, from a main menu & the answer was a very STERN NO. He was SO CONDESCENDING & was talking to me like I was a child. "We are not choosing to do that" was his answer several times. Well, that's certainly NOT the best choice he made bc I'm not going to return any time soon. & I'm also choosing to write a review:). He'd not make an exception for couple of salads? The food is really good but the service is NOT WORTHY of the 5th avenue!

In regards to the table service, the 1st time the service was astonishing bc the waiter had no manners whatsoever but the 2nd time it was really PERFECT. The Thai waitresses are truly wonderful. The worst part was that this person Sean couldn't care less & was really sarcastic. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE fine dining hospitality????? I really hope someone will read this & make the changes this place ALREADY DESPERATELY NEEDS & won't let this establishment turn into one of those trashy restaurants we unfortunately have on the 5th avenue...

Please think twice before you go there & if you do be ready for...

Update Jan 2025: Went there for my wife’s birthday recently. The host said happy birthday on our arrival, which was nice. However, my wife’s entree was a bit too spicy - we’ve been here several times before and the same entree was not too spicy on the previous occasions. Also, they typically add a birthday candle and birthday message on the dessert, but this time they did not. It’s the little things like this that matter, which is a shame since all of our previous dining visits here have been great. The salmon entree and creme brûlée were both still delicious.

From 2024: My wife and I went earlier this week for dinner with another couple. When we first walked into Le Colonial, it was clear (from the bar area to the dining area) that great care was taken to deliver an elegant, stylish, first-class experience. For appetizers, my wife and I ordered the chilled shrimp roll, which was delicious with the peanut sauce. Our friends ordered the crispy shrimp & pork roll and they loved it. For the entrees, my wife had the spicy shrimp stir-fry and I had the roasted salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the coconut lobster broth was out of this world-- one of the best meals I've had in quite awhile. My wife really enjoyed the stir fry as well. Our friends ordered the Vietnamese seafood bouillabaisse and said it was very good. For dessert, we had the creme brulee-- so good and made with real vanilla bean (instead of other places that make it without real vanilla bean). Service was great too, as we did not feel rushed nor did we feel ignored. All in all, it was an excellent dining experience and I would...

Finally got a reservation in the off season to Le Colonial and it didn’t disappoint! We went for my husbands birthday and it was perfect! The ambience of the bar and restaurant give the French colonial vibe with the dark wood and palm trees. The cocktail menu has some great options-I ordered the golden sunrise which is their version of a margarita and was very pleased. My husband ordered the makrut gimlet (pictured with the orchid flower) which might have been a bit too herbaceous for him. The food was everything I had hoped it would be! We ordered the pork/beef dumplings and the beef ravioli as apps and they were SO GOOD. For dinner we did the duck bao buns (OMG) and the boullabaise. I think next time we will get the curry instead of the boullabaise bc we liked the boullabaise but weren’t blown away by it. We ordered a bottle of German resiling which paired perfectly with everything. Dessert was the crème brulee which was perfect and a peach pastry type dessert. This place was worth the $$ because of the entire experience: food, ambience, location. I enjoyed sitting outside and doing some Naples people watching. If you’re a visitor or a local, definitely add this place to your list of places to visit. It’s hard to get reservations but the bar area is first come first serve and they have plenty of tables in there - this would be the way to do dinner without a reservation. Highly recommend for a culinary experience in Naples!

Le Colonial was an amazing place to go- especially if you know about their other locations. It was a treat. My partner and I ordered: Hanoi Coffee, Smoked Old Fashioned, Spicy Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, Seafood Ceviche, Papaya salad, Sea Bass and the Half Roasted Duck. The drinks were amazing. Both sweet but bitter. The only discomfort I had during the whole experience was our seating arrangement. We usually order a lot of food- and the small table we were seated at next to a shelf made it a bit crowded. Thankfully, the staff was on point. Whenever we finished a dish, it was removed. The ceviche was amazing and a nice amount of spicy! I was such a fan- ceviches in general are some of my favorite dishes. The papaya salad was fruity, creamy and bitter-definitely our favorite dish here and is something you don't find at many places. The Yellowfin Tuna tartare was great and fresh, didn't taste fishy at all! There was however no spiciness to it- we were expecting something like that ceviche! Our entrees were amazing. I love sea bass already. The sauce was great at complementing the fish and it's accompaniments. The roasted duck was crispy and juicy in all the right places. The Bao buns were perfect, and when assembled with a little bit of everything, delicious. We didn't get to try desserts but the options were enticing! Reservations are recommended for the best experience. Thank you Le Colonial!
