I seriously don't know what staff you're referring to as friendly! I have been to the store twice and both times the staff was RUDE. I only went there because it is the only place in Naples I can find the fudge I like. The first time we went I asked for a half pound of fudge and they just sell it by the square what you get is whatever it weighs. That I am not used to. I go to pay and it was 8 dollars. They wouldn't take a credit card unless it is 10 or over and treated me like I was second rate because I couldn't afford it.
The second time I went was today. I took a friend who had never been to Tin City. She asked if she could have a sample. These people that run this place are so Damn cheap. The staff member said , "She bought some. You can get a sample from her". What kind of place that serves fudge doesn't let you have a sample? What if I bought it for a gift? Ah yes cheap. How does the fudge get packaged when you buy it? One of those cheap baggies? The places I bought fudge in the past was packaged in a cute lil box with a rubberband around it and a plastic knife. This seriously can't cost the company much more. But how this girl acted when my friend asked for a sample was uncalled for!!! Keep your cheapskate attitude. I am taking my business to the candy factory...
Read moreFirst of all I read some of the reviews people are talking about fudge and how cheap this place is. they are all WRONG.. this staff sampled as much as i asked and it was such a generous sample that I was able to share with the 5 friends i brought with me. Yes, it is by the square, but I found that simple and easy. They are reasonable squares, some might say on the larger side, which i didn't think so, but fudge doesn't go bad!! They have so many different things to chose from and not only did she let me try the fudge but a couple different types of the puffcorn. She made me a cappuccino with a coconut gourmet flavor that tasted out of this world. She made my friend a french vanilla iced coffee. This iced coffee had coffee cubes that blew my mind. Her coffee never watered down. My favorite part was how this young lady who served us was very kind, polite, and extremely patient. I couldn't find enough cash for the $10 limit for cash, so she let me run my card with it being under 10$.
So don't believe what the other lady wrote on the review was true, maybe the employee was having a bad day. Everyone has bad days.
This place is a definite must go! Try new things! Laugh and smile with the staff as I did and enjoy the...
Read moreIf you're like my family you simply can't go to Naples Florida without paying a visit or two to the Monkey Bread Factory. In the heart of Tin City this adorable dessert shop has all sorts of delicious homemade treats. Such as their famous monkey bundts, fudge, and butter toffee popcorn just to name a few. Once you satisfy that sweet tooth I also highly recommend trying their iced coffee. Made with high quality Italian Lavazza coffee and creamer flavored ice cubes. My personal favorite is the coconut, followed closely by the seasonal pumpkin pie. Everything I've tried is always fresh and full of flavor. The fudge holds well too after travel. My fridge is currently stocked up with mint chocolate, chocolate walnut, and monkey bread fudge. Enough to hopefully last until...
