I don't know how much this rating is necessarily the manager and teams fault as I think its probably really more a corporate issue. This restaurant is in a terrible location - bad area of town. It needs complete renovation but I sure wouldn't do it here. I'd love to see this location moved over closer to the nicer and safer side of town, closer to the people who would really love it and appreciate it - fire department, city hall, Dollar General headquarters, police department, couple of large churches on that same road... etc. I thought for sure, two different times, they were about to get into an all out problem of sorts, when two different delivery drivers were upset with issues for some reason. Just not a good part of town (look at the crime rates and what they are for that area) I wouldn't come down here after dark for sure. Not safe.

The amount of telling back to the kitchen while you're trying to eat is a little much. The food is good but the place looks run down and dirty, which is not a good first impression, no matter what the kitchen my truly look like in the back.

This store needs to be relocated to a nice side of town and given a new fresh start with a newer and nicer building inside and out. (You'll attract better clientele and more of them if they feel safe and the place...

If I could give less than a star.My experience with this location was a mess. Placed order thru drive thru got home wrong order. I called back spoke with RIcK the GM stated come back bring receipt put his name on it. Went back rude lady said didn’t know anything about it loud called Rick I heard him say let her have it. ? Should have not been treated as though I was stealing a car.This order not my mistake.Miss non customer service questioned my integrity not only that she called me a liar . I gave her receipt asked for manager was not trying to get anything free.after getting my order.Didn’t set well with me, I called manager explained what counter hand said ,he apologized but this was handled all wrong my last visit there. I ordered the 2 meat sampler with brisket and smoked turkey. The turkey was incredibly dry (inedible), the brisket was okay (but lacked any flavor), and the sides were okay (fried okra and onion rings). I remember why we ate here once and a few years ago and haven’t been back until now. Also, the lady at the front register was incredibly rude! I placed my order online 20 minutes ahead of time. Arrived by the time they said my order would be ready. Once I made it to the register, I told the lady I had an online pick up order and she yelled at me it’d be 20 minutes. She didn’t bother asking my name or my order to even check it was ready. I told her I placed my order online 20 minutes ago, and before I could get another word out she started barking at me that they are busy and they can only do what they can do.
