The staff is super friendly and nice and they knew that I am from Taiwan so wanted to know my honest opinion from an insider about their boba tea so here you go. I ordered a jasmine green tea with aloe with no sugar. When there’s no sugar, creamer, or milk in the tea, the quality of the tea itself stands out, and this one is pretty legit, which means that they are using good tea leaves and brew the tea in the right way. Absolutely love the aloe. It has a hint of honey, which matches the jasmine green tea perfectly. My friend ordered a black tea with oat milk with regular boba. It is pretty decent as well. However, I would say that the only thing that would make it even better is the flavor and the texture of the boba. I personally feel like the boba can be just a little bit softer but more chewy, and it will be just perfect. And we prefer a boba with a hint of honey or brown sugar flavor in it just to make the flavor of the whole drink more 3-dimensional, but this is purely our personal preference. They make pretty cute and tasty Japanese mochi donuts as well, which the texture is a little more like Taiwanese 雞蛋糕 than mochi, but I kinda enjoy it lol! I am actually really impressed when they told me that they made the donuts themselves every morning. Great job! 不過以下也是純粹個人口味,覺得上面的糖霜有點偏甜,不過也可以理解,畢竟要符合美國人口味XD Overall, as a non-chain store, the drinks are food are surprisingly well made! These...
Read moreEdited to add: the business responded below that they add regular Oreo crumbles to the chocolate flavor. This is absolutely misleading and harmful and I cannot understand why one would do this AND continue to market them as gluten free (including when I asked at the counter). This addition literally assaulted my health and is irresponsible. **(original review below)
Their mochi donuts are marketed and labeled as gluten free, which is why I visited. At least one was described as dairy free as well (by the cashier, who also assured me they were gluten free). However, I don’t buy that these are actually gluten free because I got very sick after - with stabbing stomach pains because I absolutely cannot have gluten. It is irresponsible to market an item as gluten free when people with medical conditions are trusting you with their health, unless the item actually does not contain any gluten.
If you are celiac or sensitive to gluten, please please please do NOT eat these.
They’re $3 each and more of a cookie size and texture also. Even if they were safe to eat, I would not buy them again.
I’ve had safe gluten free mochi donuts elsewhere that were 10/10, and gluten free non-mochi donuts that were also 10/10. I would give these 2/10 (assuming they were gluten free, but they’re...
Read moreThis was a pretty decent Bubble tea place, found in Nashville, and considering the low Asian-ethnicity population here. I was delighted to see that they had a pretty big list of milk and fruit teas, as well as their non-dairy options The Matcha and Tiger sugar bobas we ordered both tasted great!
The employees there were very polite, and quick to make our drinks. Thankfully there wasn't a lineup when we visited. The shop itself was very clean and organized, and even had line tapes too, for crowd control and lining up. They also sell Bubble tea merchandise like stickers, key chains, and other snacks; mochi donuts, Japanese and Taiwanese candies too. The prices were reasonable, and our drinks came out exactly as expected. The giant Boba statue on the side of the shop is also a plus, for adorableness, the positivi-"tea", and taking pics to share on social media! 🧋
I suggest stopping by here for a refreshing drink, if you plan to stop by the Farmer's Market. You cannot miss the Bubble Love, with their cute merchandise and large logo on the...
