My experience was subpar at bungalow10. It was It was my first time there and my friend and I went for brunch. Our original plan was to go to Ruby sunshine one of our favs but came too late so we decided on bungalow. The things I liked about my experience was the music was great and the aesthetics were beautiful. I had the chicken and waffle I thought it was flavorful and good.
Now for what I didn’t like. The chicken strips and waffles portion was disappointing. $18 for 3 tiny strips and two eggo size waffle. You all can do better with portion sizes. My grandpa could eat those in two bites. Orange juice cost compared to portion as well as it was hot. I’m not for sure if you guys planned on serving room temp OJ but you should notify first because I wouldn’t have ordered it if I knew.
My server was nice except we never got any utensils until after the food came out. When she went to get us some I guess they didn’t have any clean ones because she came back with plastic knife and folk saying that’s all you all had at the moment. I could barely cut the eggo waffles with the plastic knife.
A 20% Gratuity is added to every check NO MATTER WHAT. If you’re going to add an automatic 20% tip to my check I don’t expect to be eating with plastic silverware or given kid size meal portions. I know many restaurants do this with large parties or an upscale restaurant which this establish isn’t as well as we didn’t have a group. I think you all are overpriced and under delivered. I tip everywhere I go but to have this automatically added for an establishment as such is absurd. And baby how you know I had 20% to give what if I only had enough for my meal and a couple dollars to spear for tip. My meal was like $22 give or take because we never got a paper check we paid with the server and she told us the total, my $22 bill went to $35. Not to mention it was asking if I wanted to tip again. WTH hell no. I was so disappointed and won’t be recommending to anyone. 10/10 do not recommend there are better places to go to like ruby sunshine on the corner.
This goes to say maybe restaurant owners need to pay servers more money because tipping is an option technically. Tipping for poor service and experience is...

First time visiting Bungalow 10 and probably my last unfortunately. I hope that my review can provide constructive criticism to the owner. I also hope that I will receive a response to my review as I didn’t receive a response on my initial IG post. My first complaint about Bungalow 10 is the floor. I almost slipped walking in. At first I thought I thought it was my heels but based off the other reviews a lot of people agree. So ladies please be careful.
Second, $16 for a drink that tastes like Kool-Aid is ridiculous. I ordered the Scientific Method. It looks great for Instagram likes but that’s about it. I honestly didn’t want to take the chance of being disappointed again because of the price so I only had one drink.
Lastly, out of a party of 11, only one person enjoyed their food. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken and my husband had the Best Kept Secret which is fried rice. For just the rice it’s $19. To add chicken and shrimp the total came up to $30. That’s insane! My husband said that the rice was ok. He expected more chicken and shrimp. The Chicken Fried Chicken is chicken breast on top of greens and mac & cheese. The chicken was bland. The mac & cheese was cheesy which I appreciate but it had a very weird taste. The greens were actually good. I spent a total of $122 (there’s a 20% gratuity). I don’t mind spending a lot of money on food. Don’t get me wrong. But I was so upset when I left Bungalow 10. I wasn’t happy with anything I ordered. I haven’t been that disappointed in a meal in...
Read moreSo we came to this place for the first time on a Tuesday for the $2 tacos and bottomless margs. You have to have a reservation to go here. There was a DJ playing really fun music, however it was louder than I'd expected, but still fun. The atmosphere was fun for sure. However, they do not offer a $2 taco with a no meat alternative (literally just black beans or rice or something) so I was unable to eat the tacos, and that's one of the easiest things to make meat free. So that was a bit of a letdown. Also, the margs are extremely salty.. like waaaay too salty. I guess they put the salt into the drink instead of on the rim, but it was not good. Although you can mix up the flavors, which I thought was nice! So, I ordered a pizza and asked for no mushrooms and then the pizza came out with mushrooms on it. And they loaded the pizza with olives... Waay too many olives. I've never seen a pizza with this many olives. The proportion was not good. The taste after picking everything off was decent though! Lastly, there was a piece of mold inside my ice cube. I used to work as a bartender, so I know this can happen occasionally when not cleaned correctly... but that topped off the overall not great experience. I don't think I'll be back, unfortunately. The server/bartender was extremely kind though and has a beautiful smile. I'm giving the server 5 stars, but he was the only thing that made the experience worth while. 2 stars because the DJ and server were great. And the bathroom has...
