Used to love coming here. I used to come at least once a week! However due to the severe disrespect and racism I experienced from one of the workers was very horrific last year. The worker was acting like she just stepped foot of prison. When I reached out to the owner one of them they did not seem to care. The other didn't even give me a response. Both sided with their worker disrespecting me for no apparent reason. The way the worker treated me you would think I killed somebody she loved.
I didn't deserve what happened to me and one of the owners called me to tell me they didn't care what happened to me, and I shouldn't go back then if I didn't want to get treated the way I was treated. They made me never want to go there again.
I wouldn't feel comfortable ever stepping food in that restaurant and giving them my hard earned money again.
If I was hispanic or black i'm sure the way the owners treated me the outcome would have been different. DEI place.
This is my personal experience and the food is healthy but it's really whatever there is Cava and better places you can go to. I just wouldn't ever give them my money again because of this incident.
Before the owners try to accuse me of lying. I have the emails, and I still have your number you gave me. The point is don't expect respect when you come into this store. As a regular customer I felt like I was dealing with women behind the counter who just got out of PRISON serving me food. Personally, i'm not that type of person to go back and forth especially with people who barely make a living wage. The women seemed so miserable, I wasn't going to stoop down to her level because I am a mother and I have a great life. I don't know why I waited so long to write this, this should have been done a...
Read moreThe food is fantastic! The place is beautiful and clean, lovely staff. Must try!
Pros: Lovely decor, nice bathrooms, amazing smelling hand soap, fresh food, quick, and they actually chop and mix your salad. Great juices comfy seating
Improvements:
-No option to refill your water, thus wasting plastic and having to ask a team member to refill the water lowers overall productivity of counter staff and creates an unnecessary distraction in the line. This should be addressed immediately with a table and a refillable water option in a pretty container.
The issue I have is that everything is throw away (even if sustainable and 100% compostable, I did read the signage, it’s still going to the landfill though with a bunch of non compostable things), it’s still single use. Absolutely no reason this place couldn’t have incorporated bowls, cutlery and cups that could’ve been washed and leave the compostable for take out. For the price and location it should be that way since I feel they could afford it. It’s more sanitary and extremely less waste, they don’t have an option. For that reason I don’t know if I can continue to support them. Trash (bad) but recycling is still a form of waste. I found many of the trash bowls in the recycling and nashville won’t recycle containers with food all over it. Please work to incorporate a more sustainable effort in this beautiful concept. It would make it 10/10!!!
Other people have mentioned this please work to fix...
Read moreNot the best experience dining here. The last time we came here the cashier was so rude and mean to my partner that tears were involved and we left. Also did not return for weeks. This time was not rude but you get the feeling that none of the employees are happy to be there. I watched a lady pictured in one of the photos I took. She was preparing a To go Salad looked like Uber eats or some other third party service. I watched as she picked up a piece of steak from the ground that had fallen off the bowl and stuck it right back on top🤢🤮 For a place that has such high quality produce I was shocked to see the level of neglect in food safety. The overall ambience is nice and feels like a French eatery. The Playlist certainly plays a role in that. The menu is basic and clean. I recommend this place for a health meal in the edgehill area. There are lots of cool shops around to check out and street parking is really cheep and even free in some places. I just can't get behind a good rating of higher than 3 stars because the service and overall food safety is so poor. If you can look past all of that it's a pretty good...
