The food here was great(as usual with other Charleyâs Iâve been to). The service was poor. The older black lady behind the counter was having what sounded like a personal conversation with the customer in front of me, for an extended amount of time. It seemed like 5 minutes, but in reality may have been 2-3 minutes; it seems like forever as Iâm standing there, only one other customer as I walked up, and I stare blankly ahead for a few minutes while they have a conversation about their families and friends.
So they finish their conversation and complete the order, the customer in front of me moves over. The lady behind the counter looks up at me, as if sheâs waiting for me to initiate the conversation and transaction. I get the hint, and begin ordering. Sheâs very short with me, and not at all friendly. I finish the order quickly(Iâve had plenty of time to decide while waiting), pay, and Iâm off. No smile, no âthank youâ, âhave a nice dayâ... nothing.
Employees like this make your customers feel very unimportant. Customers donât see the owners, who are relying on each customer to pay the bills. They see an employee who needs more training, or to find another line of employment that is a better fit for their...

My daughter thought she was missing asada fries because they weren't in the bag and they told her that they put it in the same container as a sandwich which was fine but she's nine years old and she just turned on why are you telling her that the guys there know what they're doing they've been doing a job for a long time and are very good at their job. She don't care about none of that she care about her fries. Furthermore seconds after that was said they messed up her sandwich. She's lactose intolerant and the order clearly said no cheese as well as the receipt yet they put cheese on her sandwich. So their actions just contradicted what they said about how they know what they're doing and they know how to do their job. Clearly they don't. Another customer, a local, states that they always act like that. We are from Cincinnati, Ohio down here for a dance team competition at Tennessee State University tomorrow and to shoot a student film at another local nearby college. We will not...
   Read moreWent there today April 5th. I've been there before and they had a turkey sandwich. After staring at menu for a few minutes noticed it didn't have it anymore. Was going to go else where the lady at the counter handed me a menu. I still didn't see it on menu which is fine you don't serve it anymore you don't. I asked her 4xs if they had turkey she said yes we do. So okay I'll have turkey with cheese and lettuce ultimate fries. Husband got the new sandwich with ultimate fries. They gave us both same sandwiches and he only got cheese and bacon fries. We paid 27 dollars. The employees were rude and didn't care I guess cause we already paid and wasn't an issue for them....
