Not a happy experience today. Celebrating the birthday of my sister-in-law and there are 14 of us. We were told the edit would be an hour and that was pretty accurate. We waited patiently. Instead of seating us at tables turned to make one long one to seat everyone, the manager made the decision to spilt us across 3 tables. Mind you the area with the tables that could be put together is still empty. Apparently, no one want to work on this holiday and I can understand out. I tried to explain to the manager that the same level of effort is required for the waitress to service our group at the long table or split asking 3. She came up with a few somewhat lame excuses why we couldn't be moved, and was steadfast on her decision. Somehow, I thought the customer might catered to since we are about to purchase 14 meals and drinks. I think I would bend over backwards to show that customer Chili's appreciates that business on a Monday. O'Charley's had the same wait time and would have seated us together, but we choose to hang out and wait for the birthday girl's choice of restaurants. Had Chili's bothered to tell us ahead of time that we couldn't be seated together, we would have taken our business elsewhere (O'Charley's). I don't think after telling a customer they couldn't be together I would ask if they still wanted to be served. I guess the manager grew tired of dreaming up excuses why our party couldn't be seated together. I'll remember this and the next in this group to have a birthday, Chili's and this style of management will not be...
Read moreFirst off, no acknowledgement after walking in the door. Oh well, off to bar. No acknowledgement there either. Was crowded but saw only one employee. (Sigh) Went back to dining room wait area. Waited for another five minutes, at least, just to be seen to be seated. No drinks yet, so we were getting antsy. Well we sat down and waited another few minutes until anyone even showed up to get the drink order. ?? Shift change, I think. Not sure. 3:30pm-weekday. Not busy, by restaurant standards. When the food came out, in time you'd expect, one meal was a mess. The classic bacon cheeseburger, it literally looked as if somebody threw it on the bun, it had fallen off the bun & hastily shoved back together. Tasty, just a mess for a $9 burger/fries. Waitress was attentive. Friendly. Now the food was good, just slopped together. Bacon was very, very greasy which added to the overall mess on the plate, but our fries sopped that up nicely. Well, urhently had to go....took about ten minutes just to check out. Not sure why. Food was overpriced for what we received (that) day. May have been a bad moment for the crew but standardization is lacking in this place. Manager was not available. Never seen a Chili's this "off", but I'd visit again to redeem the spirit of a...
Read moreMade us wait 15 minutes to be seated although half the restaurant had empty tables with no seats while we waited. The parking lot was full although the restaurant was not full. There was a large group dining there but seemed understaffed and very slow. The tables and chairs we were seated in were heavy metal on concaved tile floors causing them to wobble. Two young women standing at potium to manage seating guest unfamilar with there duties seated people on one side leaving opposite side empty so that customers were seated close together making it noisy and uncomfortable rather than alternating seating. Food was only good thing as it was fresh and well prepared. Seems though the manager was to busy in the back to even know what was happening in the front such as seating, slow service and customers leaving due to such slow service and poor management. Staff moved with no urgency and thier few followed dress code, bartender was poorly groomed and wearing dingy clothing in need of washing women and men alike with loss hanging hair some without apron few wore standard company shirts or black pants. I would not recommend this place except for curbside pickup although there maybe a long wait so the food maybe cold...
