I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Kingdom, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that I couldn't wait to share! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat.
Let's start with the star of the show - the sushi. Oh, my taste buds have never been happier! The variety and freshness of the sushi at Sushi Kingdom were simply unparalleled. Each piece was a work of art, meticulously prepared and bursting with flavors. Whether it was classic favorites like salmon and tuna or more adventurous rolls with unique combinations, every bite was a delight to my senses. The attention to detail in their presentation made the dishes even more enticing. I found myself lost in a sushi paradise!
One might expect such culinary excellence to come with a hefty price tag, but that's where Sushi Kingdom pleasantly surprised me. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the top-notch quality of the dishes served. I appreciated that I could indulge in a wide array of sushi without feeling like my wallet was taking a hit. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable knowing that I was getting fantastic value for my money.
What sets Sushi Kingdom apart, beyond their remarkable cuisine, is their exceptional service. Kevin, our server for the evening, was an absolute gem. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel like valued guests. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the menu, which only heightened our excitement. Kevin effortlessly guided us through the menu, providing suggestions based on our preferences, and even shared some interesting facts about the different sushi styles. His warm and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere, making our dining experience truly unforgettable.
The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, with a blend of modern decor and traditional Japanese elements. It was a perfect setting to savor the delectable dishes that kept coming our way.

Read moreWe made it to Sushi Kingdom in Madison for AYCE this afternoon. The menu wasn't huge, but at $28.95/pp there was still plenty to choose from. And we each got our money's worth. We got plenty of appetizers, rolls, sashimi, sushi, kitchen entrees, and desserts. I didn't take photos of everything.
We ordered shumai, gyoza, crab wonton, tempura, soba and udon noodles, or sesame balls to start. Also got: -Pot of hot tea - a standard teabag in a cute, heavy pot -Miso soup - standard -Salmon skin salad - served over a little cucumber in ponzu sauce. Not crispy but decent -Avocado salad - house salad with ginger dressing and a little avocado on top -Green Mussels - 2 served on the half shell. The spicy mayo was good but the shredded cheddar mixed in the mayo was weird. -Masago sushi - pretty good -Sashimi: Mackerel, Surf Clam, Tamago, Albacore - all tasted fresh but the Mackerel stood out for me. You are allowed up to 10 pcs/pp with each additional piece at 75cents each -Rolls: Salmon Skin& Cucumber and Salmon& Avocado. 6pc each roll. I didn't order any big rolls from the other side, but others at the table got a big roll each that they enjoyed -Kitchen Entrees:Salmon Teriyaki and Steak Teriyaki - both were very good and cooked perfectly, served over grilled onions. Each is about 1.5oz-2oz so I ordered 2 of the salmon -Dessert - I got a scoop of chocolate icecream. Others got vanilla, strawberry or chocolate, and also tempura bananas and oreos. The tempura items weren't great from what they said.
The Teriyaki kitchen items were better than the hibachi ones. Service was a bit slow, but everything eventually made it to the table. It's a very busy place, so order your next round as soon as the previous one arrives to avoid big gaps in time since there is a 2hr limit per table.
I'd say this place is easily better than Bodeli, Sushi88 and Sushi Train when you compare AYCE Sushi offerings in the Nashville area for quality, taste, and price. We will...
Read moreVisited on 9/5 with my boyfriend after hearing rave reviews. Food was amazing, but our waiter almost ruined our experience. When we went to order our first round, my boyfriend was told no, he didn't want what he wanted, he should get something else instead. My boyfriend was taken aback. The waiter actually took the menu out of my boyfriend's hands as he was looking at it. The waiter pointed to my food on the table at one point, explaining something and had his hands so close to the food, he almost stuck his fingers in it. My boyfriend ordered a chicken tempura roll, repeated back twice that he wanted a roll, but was brought out chicken tempura. I ordered a Philly roll and asked for no avocado and the sushi chef substituted cucumber which I don't eat either. The waiter said he'd have the sushi chef remake my roll correctly, and he'd take away the wrong roll. We told the waiter it would be okay, I would remove the cucumber as we didn't want too much food waste, but after telling the waiter no multiple times, he took it upon himself to still have the sushi chef make the roll again, and said he would only charge us for one roll đ It did start raining and the roof was leaking over a booth next to us. When we first sat down, we were sat at that booth, but asked to be moved due to spacing, so we did have a chuckle at our luck that we didn't get rained on. The food was great, but the waiter was a bit too aggressive/assertive. We will try again and hope to have a more pleasant experience next time. We are really hoping to have a new, great all you can eat sushi restaurant closer to home than Sushi Train...
