I had an interesting experience at Dunkin Donuts this morning. Let me explain... I am a driver for Postmates, which is a company that picks up food from restaurants and such and then we drop the food off to the person's house. So, I had a very big order from a young man who ordered a lot from Dunkin Donuts, ranging from a 12 pack of donuts, and when I say a dozen donuts I mean 12 completely different Donuts. Dunkin Donuts had every single one he wanted except for one, which doesn't even exist so the manager told me which one to substitute it with, and finally when I got to the customer's house and told him about the substitution he was extremely nice about it, took a bite of it in front of me and said that it tasted way better than what he thought what he ordered would taste like. Also, I was worried because he had ordered a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, but they were waiting for the biscuits to be ready so I substituted the biscuit for croissant at the recommendation of the manager again. And, again, the customer was completely happy with it. Because of the changes I made, he tipped me way more than 20%, Which is pretty standard for customers to tip drivers. On a personal note, I have loved Dunkin Donuts since I was a little boy. I always loved the munchkins, especially the Frosted ones. But now that I'm an adult oh, my two favorites are the powdered jelly donuts and the Boston creams. And I don't remember them having breakfast sandwiches when I was little, but the ones they serve nowadays are off the chain! I give Dunkin Donuts five stars for the reasons I just mentioned and so many more. This staff was not only sweet and made me feel at home, but their recommendations helped me a great deal dot-dot-dot and got me I'm much bigger tip than I expected. I recommend Dunkin Donuts to anyone who loves delicious desserts, breakfast sandwiches that aren't from fast food joints and very polite service. Also, most of them have drive-thrus, which makes it's very convenient to order. Again, I recommend this place to families, children, and any other type of person you can think of. Go there for a quick treat, breakfast, or to have fun sharing suites with...
Read moreI placed my order thru the Dunkin app so that it leaves little room for error on the attendants and it would be faster for pick up. Just like most others I have been a Dunkin Rewards member for quite some time. I have to say this was the worst experience ever! I pull up to the drive thru speaker and give my name for my mobile order the attendant says, "We don't have anymore croissants, would you like to substitute for something else?" I said "Sure, I will have 2 donuts instead and just refund the difference back on my app." I pull up to the window and the cashier asks me to repeat my order. I was already frustrated that the app didn't make me aware that they were out of croissants now I have to repeat this lengthy iced coffee order. The cashier had to come to the drive thru window 4 times to ask me how I wanted my iced coffee. I asked the cashier if she was going to void this order and re-ring my order since there is a difference in price, she didn't respond. I had to ask for my receipt and it was not a new receipt. I asked her how why it was not rung up with my new order she said it was the same price, which I know is incorrect. Not to mention the coffee was made incorrectly also. I said I will come into the store to have everything refunded and my coffee re-made. First off, once I came into the store, the supervisor on duty, didn't come to the counter to address my issue she hollered across as if I walked into a fish market. I asked her to refund my order she yells that "There is no manager to do my refund and I have to go the app." I said well I would still like for my iced coffee to be remade. She had me standing there waiting for well over 15 mins and never made it for me. I contacted customer service while waiting in the store and she continued to scream across the entire store being loud and disrespectful. I ultimately pulled up with time to spare and resulted in me being 30 mins late for work due to this situation. Fire her and the entire staff and...
Read moreI have been going to this location at least once a week for about 4 weeks because it's on the way to my job. The first time I went my sandwich was made improperly. The 2nd time I went I paid and they asked me to pull up because the hash browns were not ready, so I did. 10 minutes later someone brought out an incomplete order. I asked them to fix it and she said it would be another 10 minutes. By this time I was late for work and told them to forget about it. This morning the lady said she would take my order in a moment. As I waited, she forgot to mute her headset and I could hear her laughing and making jokes with another employee. When I ordered I asked for a bagel twist and she said we don't carry them, I politely remarked that it's on the menu and asked if they don't carry it or if they're out for the morning. The woman was very rude and told me in a very abrasive tone that all the DD menus are the same, but they don't carry every product listed on the menu. I worked as a Shift Lead at DD for a year at 2 different locations and there is a way to cross out menu items you do not carry. I baked for a flagship store and I know how product distribution works too. All that aside, the customer service at this location is subpar AT BEST. The employees I see at the drive-thru don't smile, they don't respond or acknowledge you like they understand what you're saying, they don't move with any sense of urgency. Some of them look like they took drugs before work. I love Dunkin' Donuts, but I will be eating breakfast somewhere else from now on because I don't want to deal with the incompetence...
