First time visitor. Be careful and check your ticket. Understaffed ( I understand this is a challenge but it greatly affects the experience) Our server didn't seem to even want to acknowledge us and take order. Did finally do that, and when we received, my order was wrong. He looked at me like death and wanted to argue but didn't. I have never in 20 years asked for red sauce on my chimichanga but that's how it came. When I saw hand written ticket at the end , he had not written my order as I stated it. Nonetheless we all ate. It was underwhelming. When we go to check out on our handwritten ticket, I noticed the prices he wrote and what we were charged were not the prices on the menu and almost DOUBLED. This was the thing I felt the most deceiving. Charged 15$ for a a la carte side a of 2 tacos with no sides. it appeared all of ours were doubled on the ticket. So pay attention when ordering and checking out that it matches. However, at this point we were ready to go and in a hurry. Left a decent tip, although undeserved. At least try a little if you are already expecting 15-20%. Overall, our experience and food and service won't get a 2nd visit and hopefully the servers, if they choose this as their job, can at least be friendly to patrons who are choosing...
Read moreThe older gentleman who answers the phone and greets customers at front has no customer service skills whatsoever. After i paid for my meal i was pointed in the direction of where to grab my food at a table a few steps away. What happened to them handing the food to customer. Never experienced that before. And this man asked me when i was coming to pickup up my order after i told him what I wanted over the phone. What??? Aren't you supposed to tell us when the order will be ready???? I had a subpar chimichanga that was like more like a soggy burrito. The tortilla was supposed to be fried and crispy according to the menu. Would only come back to try the chix soup everyone seems to like. And that's only if i feel like dealing with terrible customer service that day. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Food and customer service get a thumbs...
Read moreOne of the few decent dining options in Green Hills that is not a chain. EP has been open for many years and is consistent in its menu and flavor. It is small and can get crowded during peak lunch and dinner times, but most times one can grab a booth and get down to business. I like the host of lunch and dinner options available through number and varied food selections. However, the standard fajita, enchilada and taco options can stand alone. The prices are a bit high in relation to other Mexican establishments and the food is no better than many of these. The service is always lackluster but the kitchen churns meals out in a timely fashion. These issues should not deter one from trying the food, which is tasty, and in this part of town, there are no other options for...
