I WISH I had the words to even TRY and describe just HOW ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL all the staff at RH Nashville made our âRESTORATIONâ moment and lunch!!! The restaurant is so truly stunning and the staff are ALWAYS the BEST!!! But on 12/21/23, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND and we left feeling like royalty!!! Thereâs certainly a âstoryâ there but the short version is that the lunch was actually a surprise for our precious mom who had been praying and so desperately needed her a âChristmas miracleâ. My sister and I havenât spoken or seen each other in almost 8 years and if you knew âusâ, youâd know the massive loss of not having each other in our lives for SO LONG and just how much it had been weighing and breaking my momâs heart. Mamaâs of âprodigalâ adult children or strained sibling relationships ⊠YOU KNOW!!! So for my mom to be walked into the dining area by the SWEETEST hostess (hate that I canât remember her name) to see her 2 daughters standing there, arms wrapped around each other, eagerly awaiting her to SEE her prayers had FINALLY been answered was a HUGE CHRISTMAS SURPRISE and RHâs staff went SO FAR, WAY OUT of their way to take our Christmas miracle to a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL!!! Upon arriving (Iâm a talker đ) I was a nervous wreck wanting everything to be so perfect and mentioned quickly to the hostess and our waitress, Shelby, this was an extremely important lunch and shared a very few details. Iâm positive the other ppl in the restaurant thought I was a crazy person b/c I was trying to set my phone to video her reaction, nervously watching the front door, standing then sitting again, all the while realizing that this lunch was the literal DEFINITION of RESTORATION!!! It COULD NOT have been âpulled offâ ANY BETTER and having the RH manager, Joe and his crazy AMAZING team âget inâ on the surprise was MORE THAN WE COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED!!! When me, my sister (15 months apart) and our mom are together not only is our presence ALOT đ but it just feels like everything is right in the world đ„° We have been coming to Green Hills for birthdays, Motherâs days, ANY âspecialâ moments for YEARS!!!! Since RH restaurant came to Nashville itâs become our âregular restaurantâ for special occasions and we LOVE IT!!! But NOW, itâs become SO MUCH MORE!! RH is now part of OUR STORY!!! The manager, Joe, walked over with a tray of 3 champagnes and proceeded to tell us that our story of RESTORATION spread quickly amongst the staff and that THIS was truly what Christmas was all about and how we had given him a renewed HOPE to see other people in similar situations be RESTORED as well and our lunch WAS ON HIM!!!! đ„čđ„čđ„č We were literally treated like royalty!!!! From the INSANELY delicious lobster rolls, BEST FRENCH FRIES EVER, the garlic aioli đđđ!! Words cannot express how DELICIOUS and you CANNOT NOT have their warm chocolate chip cookies!!! The champagne đ± Iâd never had champagne before!! Oh my goodness!! They made this moment SO MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL than even what we couldâve dreamed for and we will FOREVER be so grateful to RH, Joe, Shelby and the rest of their staff for making our Christmas surprise a DELICIOUS AND MAGICAL one we will NEVER EVER forget!!!    Read moreI did not enjoy the staff, the so called safety rules of being forced to wear a mask only when standing up but not when sitting down, because clearly when youâre sitting down germs do not spread. Then they couldnât find our reservation for a large party, and when they did find it they split our party between two tables across the restaurant from each other for a birthday party we came there to celebrate. âRuined from the start.â
The menu selection..... âlimitedâ The hostess... âPoor training & did not listenâ Food on the ground under the table... âDirty.â Finding two different forks on the ground along with food on the way to their restrooms... âLazy.â The waiter forgetting items I ordered.... âHow.?â
I am not sure if I expected to much from this place, but for the prices you are charging. I expected a 5 star service, from the second I walked in the door, to the time I left. I guess at this point you all are about quantity over quality.
I suggest if you are planning to be a customer of this establishment, expect to not be completely satisfied when you leave and guess what you paid for it....

   Read moreOn a very busy Sunday at 1:30 pm, a Reservation has been made by my son in town for my Birthday. We waited about 10 minutes. Server was fairly prompt in greeting but the rest of the visit was sub par. Drink ticket times were 10-12 minutes. Appetizer time was 40 minutes. Our meal was well over an hour. The server was very apologetic, kind and professional and the entire check was comped. Being from the service industry over 20 years experience, this was what needed to be done to rectify their situation. In my exit to find the server abs be sure she received our (what would have been 50% tip) she informed me they âtip shareâ. In my opinion this is unacceptable especially if they have all available servers assigned to that section to wait on our table. She was the one who was felt the pressure and concern of the establishments failures. She deserved the $40 left by my son. Moving to Nashville from Las Vegas recently, I welcomed her, assured her that wasnât the way all restaurants are run and wished her the very best in her ventures.
