The food… ALL THE FOOD… is amazing!! Meghan helped me and really shared her love for this business. We had many things in common and one was our distinct issue with textures. To the food…. I ordered 3 lemon squares and only one made it home. They were, by far, the best lemon squares I’ve EVER had. Perfectly done with a crust to die for. Huge fan!! The rest are home with me and I have had only had small samplings of each. All are amazing but I can only do so much sweet a day. (Tomorrow I’ll be working outside grinding my teeth I’m sure🤠) A slice of chocolate cake, carrot cake, fresh berry cake (my favorite so far), and marble cake. The four cupcakes…. Yes my eyes were in heaven… mocha, lemon, strawberry lemonade and red velvet. Good gawd they are absolutely perfect. Everything was ideal from the prep to the serving and tastings. Thank you Meghan for chatting with me and sharing your passion. It definitely shows!! Even in the pouring rain, at the infamous Green Hill Mall with its ridiculous parking, Susie Cakes is worth it in every aspect!! The entire crew were on it and super friendly! I couldn't wait to get my Susie Cakes experience! Not as huge of fan of the chocolate chip cookies, but these flour less peanut butter, I CAN EAT the entire rack!! The cake makes you wanna slap yo mama, I will not slap mines she's a little heavy handed but you get what I'm saying! I had the Red Velve and Carrot Cake, pure bliss! Great taste right level of moisture and taste like the flavors your eating and not bland at all. This young man his name starts with a "N" helped me and he was phenomenal, thank the Lord I forgot my business card, I almost slipped him one and offered him a job! Yes he was that good Chile! Actually all of the staff was courteous, helpful and wore genuine smiles ( I think its because of the pb flourless cookies) I know I'd be smiling and probably written up for inventory coming up short!🍪🍪🍰 Very clean location and smooth transition if attending to the needs of everyone that came in! Not only is the food delicious, but the people are amazing. I think this place might be magical.

The first time that I went I was feeling really sad, and got a too good to go bag. Imagine my surprise when the nicest man ever handed me a bag that happened to have the exact cookie that I had been trying bakeries all over Nashville to get.

The second time I went was also for a too good to go bag, but I went early so that I could check out the counter. Also wasn’t having the greatest day, but as I was driving up I saw one of my childhood favorite restaurants, and was able to stop in for dinner there, while waiting on my too good to go bag. ended up getting several items, as well as the two good to go back. No regrets, everything has been amazing and the staff are literal rays of sunshine!
