Okay I rarely write reviews, but I think this is worthwhile. First of all, I LOVE Hall's Steakhouse next door and love the Hall's team. My friends and I were so excited for Hall's Catch, but TBH it isn't the vibe.

The service was fantastic and the food was fine. The food wasn't anything that stood out in a city with a lot of great food options.

However, for the price point and experience, I wouldn't recommend Hall's Catch for a couple of reasons:

  1. The wine was overpriced and the pours were average, the stemware was mid and the temp wasn't right. I feel like paying min $20 for a glass of wine, it should be good.

  2. My main rating is for ambiance. It's in a condo/office building lobby and it feels like it. The lighting is bright, you can literally see the lobby from your table. It's not a vibe and doesn't feel special or like a spot I'd want to go again for a girl's night out or a date night.

If you're visiting Nashville and staying at The Conrad which is on the same property, and want a good meal, totally go and it will be fine. But if you want more of an ambiance, vibe and special experience, Nashville has so many great options.

I still love Hall's. But I'll stick with...

I was excited to take my mom somewhere she has been wanting to go but left super disappointed after spending over $400. The experience will not be memorable in a favorable way. Ambience and aesthetics were nice but the food was very underwhelming for the price point. The only Cabernet on the menu was $30/glass. $74 grouper entree that doesn't come with a side, was fine but not outstanding which I would absolutely expect at that price. Broccoli side dish came out cold, I told the waitress this and she asked if we wanted it boxed up instead of offering to remove it from the bill. It was on the bill when we got the check and I had to ask it to be removed. Service was overall not good (except one newer blonde employee who was so sweet) they were not busy which we now know why, we had dirty dishes sitting on our table from the appetizers for a long time before we finally asked the table to be cleared and for new plates so we could enjoy our salad. We dine out often and throughly enjoy dropping $$$ on delicious food, this was not it and I'm just so disappointed with our experience. Wish I could have spent that money...

It was good but I wouldn’t say great. We love Hall’s and have been numerous times so we figured we’d try out Hall’s catch. Firstly the music was kind of like what you’d expect in a club which was kind of weird. The best things we had were the octopus and the Caesar salad. Both amazing. We also got oysters which are great but you can get good oysters lots of places. My wife got the scallops and they were pretty good but not what you’d expect. I had the halibut and loved the sauce but my halibut was dry. Definitely overcooked. We had the brownie for desert and there wasn’t much brownie at all. I honestly was disappointed they didn’t have the caramel cake that is the signature dessert at Hall’s. I thought for sure they would have it, but they don’t. Overall good, but we spent $400 and I left hungry and not quite feeling like I got my money’s worth like when I go across the...

I’m a huge Hall’s fan. Visited the Charleston location about 15 years ago and was immediately hooked with the customer service and food. I received a handwritten thank you note via USPS three days after my visit. I’m in sales. This is exceptional! I’ve been to Hall’s Chophouse here in Nashville several times. So good. Sunday brunch is a must. We have been looking forward to Hall’s Catch. First impression walking in off lobby was …. hmmmm not so great but we asked to see the back bar and it was better ambience but didn’t feel upscale. Enjoyed a great dinner of: octopus app, eggplant app, scallop and salmon entrees. Very good! Service as always off the charts. We’ll go again but the ambience was lacking. For the cost you can find the whole package elsewhere for less cost. I think it is just the location. Nashville will support via tourist and corporations but us locals have so many options.

My sister and I had the most amazing meal at Halls Catch Saturday night. From the moment we walked in (to the correct restaurant-Halls Chophouse is nearby), every member of staff was welcoming and kind. We had the opportunity to meet the owner from Charleston who was in that evening; he was endearing. Our server, Shane, was amazing and took excellent care of us all evening. The food was remarkable. We had the deviled eggs with caviar, Oro king salmon in white ponzu sauce, and the scallop entrée and every single bite was scrumptious and worthy of our happy dances.

We have been huge fans of Halls chophouse and were very excited for Halls Catch to open! We spent my birthday which is also Valentines Day there for the first time and it was excellent. Best sushi, fish, service, and ambiance! The only thing was the wine was very overpriced and average pours. We love Halls so much and the experience was so great I am still giving 5 stars even with the wine concern. I hope they will take that into consideration since it seems we are not the only ones that noticed that about the wine. We will already be back next weekend!
