Another win for Hilton. I’ve attempted staying with other hotel chains, it just isn’t it. Consistency is key in winning me over, I’m pleased to say we can chalk up another success for us. To be transparent, it wasn’t extraordinary, but you can tell this hotel is taken care of, maintained, and seems clean throughout. This should be the standard, cheaper hotels miss this mark more times than not. We stayed at a comparable “upgraded” hotel elsewhere throughout our roadtrip, this was only $20/night more and blew it out of the water. My expectations are probably low considering that, but consider the extra $20 well spent.
I really enjoyed the decor in our room. The cool earth tones were calming and weren’t busy. Very coordinated and looked well put together. Everything looks maintained and cleaned. Even the showers looked like they were well-kept, despite it being older hardware. Well done. Soft towels were a plus, sometimes hotel towels aren’t my favorite because they don’t feel as fluffy.
The staff upon entering was friendly and courteous. Our valet attendant gave us some suggestions to eat within reasonable walking distance, about a block or two. We chose Hattie B’s for something casual since we’d been driving for 7 hours—plus, it had been recommended to us by many folks we’d met when we mentioned we were traveling through Nashville. Wow, it was a hit, highly recommended. Even if you don’t like extreme spice, there’s something for many tastes. Even our 5yo loved hers.
After dinner, we made our way back to the room. We decided to take a swim in the pool. It wasn’t terribly crowded, and the water was a pleasant temperature. The jacuzzi we pretty full off and on, but it’s hard to stay in there for more than a few minutes at a time anyway. It was definitely hot! But nice with the jets. The only thing that was a little off, was there’s no where to pick up clean towels on a shelf or in a bin. They set a few on the tables throughout, but it was hard to tell if they were claimed by other guests or not. The front desk was very helpful though in helping us out. We spent almost an hour there, just the right amount of time.
Our beds are comfortable, not too big of a fan of the pillows though. They flatten quickly and don’t offer a lot of support. Our room was sufficient for one night. It included a microwave and mini fridge, and a nice sized closet. I was pleasantly surprised that the coffee machine was a keurig, nice touch. There’s more storage under the TV for more clothing or otherwise, but it wasn’t a dresser. Again, fine for one night or maybe two for our family of three. A longer stay, I would have upgraded us to something a little bigger if that’s an option. We had two queen beds in our room.
We didn’t have an opportunity to try any dining services, but the gift shop/market was nicely stocked. You can purchase adult beverages there, too.
For breakfast/coffee if you’re wanting to venture out (you’ll need to drive), I’d recommend Frothy Monkey. It was a little over a mile away, it was great.
Thanks for yet another great stay Hilton. We’ll keep this one in mind if we return to Nashville at any time, there’s tons to do here that’s nearby. The only negative we found really was we felt the valet was a little overpriced. That seems to be a common complaint, but other than that, things have been really great. We’re sticking with Hilton...
Read moreMe and my husband (MILITARY) made the mistake of staying here last night 8/2/23 an hour after being there me and my spouse were soaking in the jacuzzi when the door opened on us.
THE MAINTENANCE MAN came into the room and then shut the door immediately my husband walked to the door and the man started arguing with him about coming into the room.
We immediately contacted the front desk where a female answered the phone and transferred us to a male who claimed to be a manager. He stated the stay would be refunded and he was very sorry.
I suffer from PTSD and other disabilities and around 230 am after NOT being able to sleep due to the previous incident we decided to leave.
Once down in the lobby there was no one to be found for about 20 min. We searched for valet front desk everything. My husband walked around outside looking and finally found a male outside asleep at the tables.
He woke him and the dude started arguing and stating “ aye man aye lemme just talk to y’all man lemme just talk to ya”. Then started calling us names because we wanted our refund receipt from the night and our car.
He stated “ man I ain’t given y’all no receipt till y’all lemme talk to y’all man” very aggressive body language and very IDGAF demeanor !
He continued to be aggressive stating “ you people are crazy I’m callin the police” we mean while are still trying to get our vehicle from valet ($40) that was requested before we ever even came to the lobby.
We told him call them before we do you won’t allow us to have a receipt or call valet infact told us “ I ain’t valet that ain’t my job bruh” VERBATIM!!!
HILTON THIS IS ONLY SOME.
THIS MORNING * we called to speak to a manager regarding the issue we had at earlier hours when the female BRIANNA the “ manager” up front started stating repeatedly “ like I told you I ain’t given you no refund you can call and discuss this when you don’t have an attitude “ then proceeded to state “ YALL were aggressive and rude and called “MY AUDITOR” names etc.
This infact is completely opposite and the fact that she’s allowed to hang up on people and treat people like her children is OBNOXIOUS!!
Her final statement was “ I WAS gonna refund it till you got a attitude wit my staff and me so I’m hanging up on you now bye”
This behavior is all recorded and EXTREMELY unbecoming of a HILTON employee especially a “ MANAGER “ we are nauseated at this and the fact we not only had our stay ruined but further more treated the way we were.
AGAIN ITS...

Everything was clean, well lit, and easily accessible. Our room was immaculate, well stocked with the necessities, and easy to control heat/cooling. Did not use the pool, but from what we could see, it looked good for either a quick dip or a day of fun on a rainy day.
The food was iffy. The restaurant is not fully opened. No table service but probably due to shortage of staff. The wings mentioned above were mine. I ordered 9 piece of dry rub and did not expect the name to be as accurate as it was. After ordering (from the bartender), we waited about 15 minutes for the food to come out. It arrived in to go boxes (but we could eat in the dining room) with plastic silverware (not needed). I had fries with mine. My wife had the chicken tenders. Fries as well. Both looked good and smelled good. Fries were hot, well seasoned, and delicious. My wings were dry. Occasionally would find a small area of dampness, but for the most part, was drinking a lot of lemonade. The rub itself was good, but the chicken was tasteless. I tried, but could only force 5 down before giving up. I felt the wings could have been marinated a little to hold in some of the juice. A dipping sauce may also be in order. My wife had a bit of the same complaint with the tenders. A bit dry and on the bland side. She also would have wanted some dipping sauce.
The hotel has a free shuttle that will go a maximum distance of 2 miles. We went to an event in downtown Nashville about a mile away. The shuttle is on a first come, first use. Very friendly driver, got to where we were going, and everything we needed. However, after the show, I called for the shuttle and couldn't get in touch. Phone kept going to voicemail which was full. Tried about 6 times to contact and never got in touch. The shuttle runs until 10 pm on Monday thru Thursday and I called at 930. So we just walked back the 1.1 miles with my wife taking the worse of it (her shoes weren't made for walking that far). We don't know what happened and didn't ask about it when we got back.
So a couple of hiccups, but overall a good experience. They fix the food issues, I'd probably rate them higher. Go, stay, but eat somewhere...
