Where do I even start. It took so long to get my order, apparently there were 4 employees in the back and they couldn't be bothered to come out and help the one person behind the counter. When everyone did come out only one of them was wearing a hat and an apron, how gross is that. Concerning the rest of the place, there was an over filled trash can, no clear menu to read off of, and an under stocked ice cream case, to even get my order I asked the one properly dressed to mix it with another ice cream. And so she scooped the ice cream with 2 scoopers, one of them being an improper scooper. I don't know if there's a proper measurement on mix-ins in the ice cream, but if there is then she went overboard. My ice cream had strawberries and she put too much in there and mixed it for like half a minute. The outcome turned my ice cream into a soup with the juice from the strawberries and the air mixing into the ice cream. And then when me and my companion went to the end of the counter to pay, there was no one to take our money, unless you count the bum outside. We could've legit walked out with our ice cream because there was no body manning the registers, there's 5 people behind the counter, no line behind us, and no one wanted to take our money. After 5 minutes, some poor kid who must've started that day decided to try to cash us out. I say try because clearly no body could be bothered to train him, he was struggling for a solid minute, saying negative comments outloud about the register system he clearly knows nothing about.
if it seems like I'm picky, its because I am. I have worked for six years as a shift lead at a coldstone creamery. It's the same concept. What's not the same is the way the managers run the place. There needs to be proper training and stocking and organization. It's not fair to put all the work on the customer to make themselves have a good time and feel like they got what they paid for. I...
Read moreI went in here with my husband for some ice cream. What was supposed to be a fun little date turned out to be the most embarrassing moments in my life. I ordered the banana split. The lady who started working on my order was instantly rude. She seemed annoyed with me. I ask for chocolate chips on my banana split. I offered to pay for them. And was told no that they were free but I wasn't allowed to have them on my ice cream. I ask if I could have a cup of them and I would put them on my ice cream myself and was then again told no I wasn't allowed to have any. I accepted it and moved on. After my husband had paid we were waiting for our order to be finished when I over heard 2 of the employees talking about me. It was very unprofessional. I will never return to another Maggie...
Read moreI am big on ice cream. I was vacationing here for two weeks and asked the locals for the best ice cream spot. They pointed me to this ice cream shop. I ordered what I usually order at every ice cream store I visit. Vanilla ice cream, caramel, hot fudge, chopped walnuts and a brownie in a waffle cone. I got handed exactly that all dripping, the ice cream was melted in the cone, it was like slush. I was very disappointed and informed the lady that made it that it wasn’t right, she’s going to tell me it’s because of the ingredients, umm no I’ve had this several times before first time ever I run into this problem and told her maybe she should check her ice cream temperature she just smiled and did nothing. Super disappointed will never...
