This McDonald’s doesn’t deserve even a one star. I expect to get rude customer service from time to time, but when the rude customer service is coming from a “manager” it’s even 10 times worse. As a local Uber eats driver of two years, who has also maintained a 5 star rating with no issues, I encountered A huge issue at this McDonald’s on May 27th at 2:00 A.M. I’m usually one to be able to let things go, but this time I have Filed a complaint with the BBB, McDonald’s Coorperate, as well as any other platform I can. When my request came in, I gladly Accepted the order and headed to my destination. (McDonald’s) Let me just fill you in on how this works for those of you who aren’t drivers and do not know... There are specific pickup instructions when getting to your restaurant. This McDonald’s specifically states, “pickup via drivethru window, or lobby” “Please use drivethru window if lobby is closed late night”. With absolutely NOBODY in the drivethru I pulled Around to the second window to let them know I was There. At first, a younger lady came to the window and asked if I was Uber. I said Yes, and stated the order I was There for by name and order number. She then said ok hold on. I heard Her yell “Uber is here”. I then Was confronted by a white probably 50 ish lady, no teeth, who said she was the manager. She said that I was Breaking the Uber policy and that I must stop at the drive thru speaker to let them know I’m here. Now this might seem simple right? But it’s the tone and the way she threw her hands in my face. I explained, sorry ma’m I didnt Realize this as I’ve picked up here daily and this is the first time anybody has told me. Keep in mind it isn’t like they were busy. I was The ONLY person in site. She then said, “ you need to go to the speaker and tell me you’re here and then I’ll confirm the order or you can leave i don’t care. I then said, wait a second... you don’t need to talk to me this way. I didn’t deserve that. She said i don’t care. I then replied, do you not care that i also am a regular customer at your store and you’re cussing me? She then yelled “I don’t care, get out of here.” Blonde Lady with no teeth who calls herself a manager, let me rephrase what a good, professional manager should have said instead so that maybe you can keep your job if you still want it. “Hey ma’m I’ll confirm the order this time but next time will you please stop at the speaker first to tell me you’re here? That’s just our policy and I’d really appreciate it. Thanks for your cooperation.” Blonde haired manager with no teeth, that my friend is how you respond to a situation like that. I have always treated people the way I would Like to be treated in return. You should to. Not only did I get Shafted from an order that night, this McDonald’s lost a very loyal Uber partner who worked with them on a daily basis, a nasty review, and a customer didn’t receive there food. Shame on you!
DO NOT GO HERE. TERRRRIBLE MCDONALDS! DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE. THIS MANAGER...
Read moreThe caliber of services is suffering as much as much as the effects of the Pandemic. Not only has the become very difficult to obtain help, but those that are in place seem to have lost the passion required to maintain loyal customers.
In my last three attempts to sample the fair at this chain I told myself give them a break they are really short on help right now. But at some point you have to draw a line.
Lately I've found that more often than not, stopping at this establishment means, improper orders, stale bread, buns that are torn and still used assemble sandwiches, crispy chicken sandwich with no condiments and I could probably go on fo awhile. The only items that remains consistent is the sprite.
What this all comes down to is the loss of attention to detail. The act of service has morphed into something that is more about getting the orders out the door and less about caring about the consumer that sacrifices hard earned money in the act of trying to fufill lunch requirements and contributing to the future of the employee.
It's quite disappointing, and makes it necessary to say, if I'm going to survive, I had better pack a lunch. It's disheartening to not be able to contribute to the future of the workers in the service industry, I was once there myself, but when so little respect is shown for the customer and the quality of service the best thing to do is steer clear until conditions get better.
It's economical, it's fast, it's...
Read moreThe sign right beside the drive-thru clearly states that you can buy either a quarter pounder 10 piece chicken nugget or Big Mac and get the second one for a dollar. I tell the woman that I want a Big Mac and a 10-piece chicken nugget. She proceeds to tell me I can only buy a 10-piece chicken nugget and get the other one for a dollar. I told her that's not what the sign says. She said that her manager told her that I could not do that. I took a picture of the advertisement with my phone drove up and said I want to speak to the manager. He then comes to the drive-thru. I was trying to tell him what the cashier said. He rudely interrupts me and says what is your order. He never apologized for the inconvenience and the inaccurate information that the cashier told me. He then takes my order and walks off. I told the cashier I told you that's what the sign said. She then has the audacity to laugh at me. Honey you need to be laughing at yourself. You work at McDonald's as a cashier , you don't even know what the current special is. I know I'm not the only customer that had attempted to place an order like that. So I would assume you are laughing at your own ignorance and...
