I like the food & issue a high rating because of the following fact often overlooked. The stated objective of the restaurant to serve North American style Asian Cuisine in a high end setting with high end service. PF Changs is not an exotic Asian Specialty restaurant serving authentic Asian Cuisine so it’s not fair to come dine with them only to berate them for not serving authentic Asian Cuisine. North American Asian Cuisine is what they specialize in & it easily beats its competitors across all aspects of the dining experience.
Things have changed with the restaurant over the years as dining habits & what folks seek to eat aren’t what they used to be. Example, I use to not be able to get a table on their least busiest days in years past pre pandemic. That’s not the case today. The service remains great for me & the food continues to meet my expectations.
Challenges facing the restaurant industry are ongoing so you’ll notice short staffing from hosting to waiting & it’s frustrating when your expecting great service from a great brand like PF Changs. I simply share this, I am professional & understanding when service professionals underperform. So as along as they treat me with respect & keep me informed as delays persist. I will work with you by remaining patient & respectful through delays.
If a restaurant you know has great reputation but is having an off night. Personally, I opt for my second choice & will come back another time. If any issues that you’ve identified persist, than you address the issue with supervisors. If mgmt leaves your legitimate concerns unresolved or are unresponsive. Than you cast your decision to leave with your money.
I very funny about the kind of food I put in my mouth, where I spend my hard earned money & with whom I tend my hard earned dollars to. That’s why I never shop at gas stations for emergency water or snacks. I have no problem going cashless faceless transactions. The staff at this PF Changs treats me & most folks I observe interacting with well in my opinion.
Finally, I judge restaurants by how clean they keep their restrooms & I HAVE NEVER CAUGHT THEM WITH A...
Read moreToday my wonderful sistars and I decided to have a lunch date and meet at PF Changs. Upon arrival finding parking was not hard at all. (I was told it can get hectic) Once entering into the restaurant we were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. A few of the ladies were already there so seating was already selected. Once I was seated I was greeted by our waiter Ethan (so welcoming and patient the whole time. We had a larger party (group of 11). But he ran this table the whole time all by himself. He didn’t miss a beat. Our drinks stayed fresh and topped off. He was back and forth to the kitchen getting something for one of us and he never lost his cool. The appetizers was so fresh and delicious I had the cucumber salad (yummy) it was so delicious and shareable as mentioned on the menu (I shared it with four people to taste and still left with some for home. Jeff the executive chef came over to our table a few times. He was asked about their vegan options and took no hesitation to explain how they are able to recreate whatever their customers need because everything is cooked fresh and made in house. Jeff gave us a few suggestions. Once our orders were placed he returned back out to ensure everything met our needs. That meant a lot to us to have the chef come out and make sure we were satisfied. I appreciate Jeff for that and it shows that he cares out what he serves his customers. While we were enjoying our food we received another surprise guess Scott. Now I don’t remember his role I just remember him coming over with a big smile and greeting us and also making sure everything was delicious and met our needs. So in conclusion if you made it this far. Sometime the Quality of food can be determined my the attitude (energy) of the people preparing or serving it. And if you can’t tell by this review how delicious the food was by the attitude and appreciation of the workers here at PF Changs I’ll say it now all of our food was delicious there were no complaints. I will be returning for round...
Read moreI have eaten at other P.F.C restaurants before, but I have never been so underwhelmed and grossed out. I went on a Monday at around 7pm. The restaurant was not super busy, they were able to set me right away. I chose to sit at the bar (which had food all over it, and was sticky) as I was dinning alone. The bar tender (only 1 on duty) greeted me right away, with little to no energy (long shift maybe, still not a good look for a bartender). I looked at the menu and pretty quickly decided on the lettuce wrap and the spring rolls. It took the bartender a while to come back to me, but when he did I ordered a Malibu and coke, and the wrap and rolls. He put the order in right away, but took 15 mins to get my drink to me. It took 30 minutes to get the wrap. The chicken mixture was cold and a both dishes were very underwhelming, but it was late and I had just gotten off of a 12hr shift so my standards were pretty low at that point. Not low enough for the events that came next. While I was sitting there eating I watched the bartender very lively mix a couple of yummy looking drinks, then as he was adding the finishing touches he sees something in one of the glasses. He fishs it out then dumps both glasses and gets a fresh glass for the one that had the mystery floater and rinses the other and starts the drink process over. All of that I had appreciation for, then as I look back down to make a wrap I see a ROACH crawl up on the bar then back over the edge before I could even get the bartenders attention. At that point my stomach turned I sat my plate away asking for boxes...not thinking it through at the moment. Took forever to get the boxes, and the check. I got out of there as soon as I could. The food was so underwhelming and the thought of what was in that glass he fished out plus the bug, I threw the food away. Didn't even get through half of either. For the price and reputation of this chain I am extremely...
